The style and feel of the place is of a real coffee shop. The milk-based drinks are pretty good in both taste and presentation: creamy texture, beautiful latte art. The cakes are excellent: original (not your usual tripple-chocolate-chip, massive chunk of ultra-dense paste that makes you hate yourself for a week after), different , yet tasty. The French pastries (croissant, pain au chocolat) are very impressive, fresh, light, airy, just a tad too sweet, probably to suit the local pallet. The Espresso was a bit of a disappointment. Again, style, presentation, the cup, the coat of crema, the spoon, the accompanying glass of sparkling water, the card showing the origin of the coffee beans, were spot on. But it was all a bit hollow because the Espresso was just too sour. Overall great to finally have a serious coffee place in the neighborhood, conveniently located, and, despite my criticism, that certainly beats the hell out of your standard Bangkok coffee places or the well-known international franchises. I'll definitely pop by again to taste another shot...
