The show was good and made the kids go 'wow '. It offers a good experience with its interactive activities. If you're looking for a 'wow' experience, this place is perfect for you. The guide who led us through the activities provided basic information, but in some activities, he only instructed us on how to take a photo.
My point of concerned (if he could made these better would be one of the best place to visit): Air ventilation - I can’t breathe in some of the areas. There was a chemical smell, which I’m not sure might be from the part of the show, and it is still around the area Safety: I still need to get the safety information before starting. I might be too paranoid, but there is no way to escape if there is a fire in the building Scientific Information - It turned out that some of the information provided was not correct in some parts, while some of the kid's answers were correct but might be too specific details, and the staff told her that her answer was wrong!
For your information: the first activities of the museum are next to the ticket box. Please make sure that your child won’t be interrupted in their activities because some of the kids (not mine) were yelled...
Read moreWe were not sure what to expect but it was great - a fiery and fantastic science show, and lots of interesting exhibits and activities. The model of a guided tour rather than just wandering among the exhibits ourselves worked well, and was better than many science museums - plenty of time to try things out ourselves but also good explanations. The exhibits were generally very good - mirrors, vortex chambers, and air cannon, lots of plasma devices, genius passageway of illusion... some great standouts, and just a few maybe a little less interesting for an 8 year old, but on the whole better than many larger museums I've been to. Lots of electricity, mist, dry ice and fire, but also some good science demonstrated at the same time. Again, the guided aspect helps - also means it's not overcrowded.
Only small note is that is could be better signposted - it's hidden near Harbourland. Looks very modest when you go in but there are hidden depths.
Special thanks to Mevisa, Suha, Yum, Jimmy, Cham and Po who were the staff when we visited - they...
Read moreWe recently visited WOW Park in Bangkok with our two kids — a 7-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl — and had an absolute blast!
It’s not your typical play area; it’s more like a super fun, interactive science show where chemistry and engineering come alive through cool experiments. Everything’s in clear, easy-to-understand English, so even little ones can follow along.
The hosts (or “animators,” as they call them) are super energetic and totally engaged — they don’t just perform, they get the kids involved, ask questions, crack jokes, and really make everyone feel part of the action.
Our 7-year-old was glued to every experiment, eyes wide with curiosity, while our 3-year-old giggled, clapped, and happily copied everything the hosts did. The giant soap bubbles, colorful chemical reactions, and building massive structures out of simple materials were huge hits!
WOW Park is a fantastic spot for family fun in Bangkok. The kids had a ton of laughs — and secretly learned a thing or two along the way. We’ll definitely...
