Today we had the pleasure of visiting the Oasis Restaurant for breakfast, and I must say, it was an experience that left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by the kind and friendly staff, who made me feel right at home.
The atmosphere at Oasis is calm and relaxing, creating the perfect setting to start the day off on a positive note. As I settled into my seat, I noticed that the restaurant even had the morning paper available to read, a thoughtful touch that added to the overall charm of the place.
When it came to the menu, I was pleased to find an array of great choices for breakfast. From traditional English breakfast to classic American options and even continental delights, there was something to satisfy every palate. I decided to be adventurous and opted for a combination of English and American delights with the continental breakfast, and I was not disappointed.
The service at Oasis was quick and efficient, allowing me to enjoy my meal without any unnecessary delays. The food itself was not only visually appealing but also incredibly tasty. Each dish was prepared with care, and the flavors were well-balanced, leaving me feeling satisfied and content.
One aspect that caught my attention was the restaurant's decoration, which featured a boho beach style. This aesthetic perfectly complemented its close proximity to the beach, enhancing the dining experience and creating a unique ambiance. The combination of soothing colors, natural textures, and subtle beach-themed accents added a touch of tranquility to the entire space.
What I appreciated most about Oasis was its availability of all-day breakfast options. It's not often that you come across a place that offers such a wide selection of breakfast items throughout the day. This is particularly convenient for those who enjoy a leisurely morning or have a late start to their day.
Overall, my experience at Oasis Restaurant was exceptional. The kind and friendly staff, the calm and relaxing atmosphere, and the delicious breakfast options made for a memorable visit. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to the area, I highly recommend giving Oasis a try. It's the perfect place to start your day off right, and you won't be...
Read moreWe’ve been a fan of the Oasis Cafe ever since we discovered it on our first trip to Hua Hin a couple years ago.
We’ve always had lunch and dinner here, but never breakfast. Finding decent options for western breakfasts in Thailand can be challenging at times, so we are always looking for a good breakfast place on our road trips.
We hadn’t realized Oasis does breakfast, and we only discovered it when we searched online.
We each ordered an English Breakfast for 195 Baht, and that’s all we needed to order.
It came with coffee and fresh-squeezed orange juice. It also came with two eggs, two slices of toast, two strips of bacon, a breakfast sausage, fried mushrooms, fried potatoes and onions, a small bowl of baked beans, and a grilled tomato.
The bacon was freshly cooked and done perfectly. Very tasty. The sausage was excellent, and if you’ve eaten what normally passes for sausage in Thailand (hot dogs), you’ll really appreciate it.
The eggs were done nicely, and the brown bread toast was good too. Normally toast in Thailand is terrible. It was toasted perfectly and came with real butter.
The grilled tomato was good, and the fried mushrooms delicious. The potatoes and onions were also very good.
If I had any quibbles, it would be with the baked beans. Not having been to England, I don’t know if they normally use tinned beans, but I suspect they probably do. It’s a minor quibble, but they were okay. I really don’t expect a small restaurant to cook a batch of baked beans for breakfast!
The orange juice was really good, and had a pile of pulp at the bottom. Love it!
The coffee was acceptable. I think we have become coffee snobs though, and our home espresso game rivals any cafe out there. So, we’re a little spoiled in that regard.
If you’re looking for a good English breakfast in Hua Hin, you can’t go wrong coming to Oasis Cafe. It is nice that it is close to Khao Takiab Beach and there is a lot of parking...
Read moreWe are in this cafe twice the first time I had no issues the food was good and arrived relatively quickly. However the second time we came we ordered slightly different and in particular we ordered the smoked salmon and scrabbled egg one of our party ordered it without the smoked salmon (what I would consider the high ticket item of the meal) however when the bill arrived they had charged the breakfast without the smoked salmon as the same price. So being curious we questioned it just a simple inquisitive ‘shouldn’t it be slightly cheaper?’ But upon asking this a lady from the back appeared the ‘chef’ I suppose and started insinuating that we were asking the world and got rather aggressive towards us and gave us some rather sour looks! All we did was ask a question and a simple ‘no sir sorry’ would have sufficed. Instead we got told we should have ordered from the A La Carte menu however this was never suggested by the waitress. I would give this place a miss on both occasions we did notice the ‘chef’ appear from the back to drop in some what I would call abuse to customers! Watch out for that sour...
