Of the three Pizza Company branches in Hua Hin, I would vote the BluPort Mall branch as the most chill and relaxed.
It's located off to the side of the information kiosk and on the way to the restrooms. Although it's open space and faces out towards the walk ways and True Coffee, there still is a bit of privacy. Also, it never seems to be crowded, so you can always get a booth or table.
The waitresses here seem slightly more active and motivated than the employees at Pizza Company Market Village or the Delivery/Carry Out "Than Samai Branch" on Petchkasem Road. English communication is still a struggle here, but these waitresses seem to put more effort into communication.
The food? Well, it's Pizza Company. Yet another cog in the Minor International Corporation wheel that runs the Sizzler, Swenson's, Coffee Club, Dairy Queen and some Burger King franchises among others.
Prices have crept up over the years but Pizza Company 🍕 always seems to have "buy one get one" deals on their mediocre pizzas. Thankfully, they have diversified their menu a bit to include a variety of salads, pastas and pork and chicken steak dishes. For me, the only pizza that they make now that I like is the New Yorker style. The tomato based pizza sauce is still Gastritis inducing acidic and the weird cheese seems to turn into plastic when the pizza cools down, but the New Yorker crust appeals to me more than the thin and crispy and the pan pizza.
On this occasion, I had one of the special sets that included a small piece of overly seared salmon, onion rings and a spicy and garlicky seafood spaghetti. The spaghetti and onion rings were good. The salmon not so much.
Customers can buy a pizza member card and it's a great deal if you need to supply pizzas for your kid's birthday party. You get other discounts and coupons, so if you study the deals, there is some value here.
On this trip, I did remember to take photos of my salmon with black pepper sauce, onion rings and spicy seafood spaghetti dishes.
219 Baht for the salmon, black pepper sauce, onion rings and a bit of salad and 129 Baht for the spaghetti. Also, I used 9 member points for a free glass of Coke.
Conclusion: For pizza, there are much better places in Hua Hin, but for a "Mall restaurant", kids birthday parties or delivery late at night, Pizza Company gets...
Read moreExtremely unprofessional service and management. My boyfriend and I went there for lunch 2 days ago. The waitress took our orders and about 10 min later my boyfriend got his meal while I got a bill ...(what about my food? what if I want to order something else?? Dessert?).Then my bf finished his meal and mine was still nowehere...I was really hungry and started to be angry as we went there to dine together. I called the waitress who, at that point said they still needed at least 7 more minutes to prepare my food. Then I asked for the manager and all she could say was "sorry, your food takes way longer to prepare"....Then why not start preparing my bf's later?? And why give my the bill before even getting my food?? BTW there were only 2 other customers in the entire restaurant and at least 10 staff members when this happened. Needless to say I cancelled my order as my boyfriend had been long done with his food and we only paid for his meal and left....
Read moreI think I'm done with The Pizza Company for good. I stopped going to the Market Village location because every time I went in there it was dirty, even right when they would open in the morning there were crumbs on the floor and the last time I went there were ants on the table.
I decided to give the Blueport location a try. The restaurant looks nice, I like the decor better than Market Village. We ordered a Double Pepperoni Pizza with Cheese Crust. When the pizza arrived it was thin crust, they said they would make it again but I decided to take my business elsewhere.
It's really a shame, The Pizza Company has a good product but their employees seem to lack training, I have encountered this problem here at Bluport, at Market Village, and in Bangkok.
I doubt if I will be returning to any of...
