Volaré — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

We were these days also at the Italian, pardon at the francophone Italian restaurant! Three times: the first time, the last time and never again. Why? First we were alone in the quite manageable simple restaurant. We wanted gnocchi, there is not! We wanted large mussels, there is not! So we ordered salad, ravioli and mussels and drinks (mineral water and a glass of red wine). So far so good! Suddenly, after 20 minutes a cohort of Frenchmen stormed in, who took over the restaurant loudly; the peace was over. From now on it took another 20 minutes until finally the salad was served. The whole attention was now given to this group with much lamentation. The red wine, probably from the box, was undrinkable (by the way, from the Italian, pardon French). My partner was now served her meal, but I had to wait another 10 minutes for my ravioli. A no go for western standards! I’ve been here twice and I ordered the same thing on each occasion. It was a pizza with ham, mushrooms, artichokes, Italian sausage, and salami. Both pizzas were very good. The first time I had this pizza, it was cooked perfectly, with a very crispy crust. It was five stars for me. The second time I ordered it was about four days later, and closer to closing time. The pizza took twice as long to get to my table as the first time, and the crust was not as crispy. In fact, aside from the very edge of the crust, it was chewy. It was not as good. I ordered via Grab food delivery from Volare Italian Restaurant my order arrived quickly and coming from Australia with a large Italian community some times it’s a disappointment when try to find good Italian Food. But I’d have to say the from Volare I wasn’t dissatisfied the meal was excellent and a good portion size, we had the homemade Ravioli Di Pollo and Fettuccine Al Fredo Pasta both were delicious the best I have had in Hua Hin.

I only gave 3 stars for atmosphere as we haven’t eaten in house yet! We be definitely visiting...
