"Cashless" McDonald's restaurant! I entered the restaurant on Wednesday 5 November at 2 pm and noticed a sign on the front counter that said this is a "Cashless" McDonald's. I used Google translate to confirm with a McDonald's staff member that I could not pay with cash. As a 70 year old traveler from Hawaii that uses a cane; I didn't have a credit card or app to use for payment at McDonald's. I sat at a dining room table and placed a McDonald's order thru Grab food; definitely a first for me while sitting in the restaurant. Using Google translate I explained to the McDonald's staff that I had a McDonald's order thru Grab showing all the order details. I asked that when the Grab driver arrived to point me out to him. The McDonald's staff was extremely understanding, kind and professional... Thank You! The Grab driver arrived and I made cash payment to him; the Outstanding McDonald's staff then brought my order out to the table. The food order was for 789 Baht and it was a quick birthday lunch for a family friend; Thanks to Team McDonald's the birthday lunch was saved. 5 star customer service to the McDonald's staff for your kindness and professionalism; I truly appreciate your help!

While I was in the restaurant another foreigner arrived and when he discovered McDonald's was cashless, he left. I know McDonald's must have their reason for going cashless, but you are losing sales and frustrating customers. I really hope you will reconsider...
