This place is a complete disappointment!

My wife and I visited your café today, and it was the worst experience we’ve had in a long time. First of all, one of your staff spilled coffee all over my wife’s white pants, her backpack, her headphones, and even a soft toy. The waitress immediately started repeating “sorry, sorry,” but it sounded completely insincere and only made things worse. The issue isn’t that the coffee was spilled — accidents happen. The real problem is that no one made any effort to make it right. No compensation, no discount, not even a genuine apology from the management. Just a meaningless “sorry-sorry” and that’s it. This isn’t just poor service — it’s a clear disregard for your customers. I left this place feeling seriously let down.

And that’s not even the end of it. The shrimp sandwich I ordered came with unpeeled shrimp, including the tail. Why? This is not just lazy, it’s downright careless. Serving shrimp like that in a sandwich is either a sign of total incompetence or a lack of respect for the dining experience.

Honestly, I’m shocked by the way this place treats its guests. This isn’t just a slip-up — it’s negligence and indifference. I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone, and I certainly won’t be coming back. Hazel Brunch&Co is an absolute gem tucked in the heart of Old Town Phuket, and we genuinely loved everything about it. From the moment we walked in, the warm, cozy vibe and beautiful interior instantly made us feel at home. It’s the kind of place that perfectly balances style and soul.

The food? Impeccable. The salmon toast was thoughtfully plated and bursting with flavor — fresh ingredients, creative combinations, and that perfect brunch comfort. We even went back for another one. The coffee was smooth and rich, and the smoothies were a colorful dream. Honestly, it’s the kind of menu where you want to try everything.

Been coming here for quite awhile and unsure how to review it as the place is nice but I find 90% the menu just doesn't interest me that much. I appreciate that they have made some unique dishes and try to be different but I think they could improve by adding some simple eggs and bacon (or other items) without the fusion and twists, fatty thick bacon and high price. Maybe some healthy sandwiches. At the moment the BLT is the only brekky item thats price is comparable to other places in samkong. Poached eggs should be served warm / hot not cold.
