please avoid . there're plenty of restaurants in the area and 2 that michelin guide recommended.
i went here with my friends as we thought all restaurant here would taste and have the same service level.
Service: there're lots of staff but they tend to talk to each other rather that respond and get yout order.
Food: we ordered 4 menus but everything surprised us (we are thais so we know what the good food in thailand is). Crab Fried rice tasteless . just egg fried rice filling crab on top grill prawn we got streamd prawns. when we asked what we order, they took the plate to grill so all prawn went too dry fried fish the fish came with warm temperature and not well cooked as what the meal normally cook fresh oyster came for last dish by surpised. the oysters are dry not fresh like it served late becase they might defrost the oysters.
Order: they noted some wrong order. please recheck before paid.
all in all, as a thai and tourist, i would suggest you all avoid and go to somewhere else. they seem to service pass by tourist and i am sure no one return.Thai seafood is worth to try...
Read moreAs a local, I will say this; fresh ingredients bought from the market, pleasant sea view, and free parking, were the only factors saving this meal from being 1 star. Service was meh. Many staffs were just standing around chatting, only tending to the tables when they were there to serve food or take orders. Seafood sauce was soooooo mild I felt bad calling it seafood sauce at all. I assume it's made to suit foreign tourists' tastebuds. Garlic fried mantis shrimp weren't cooked well, making the meat mushy, not chewy and sweet like they should be. They forgot to bring the herb that goes with fresh oysters, we had to ask the staff for it. Other dishes were just passable, not bad but not flavorful, I'd say the freshness of the seafood helped a lot. We ordered tom yum soup off the restaurant's menu, using restaurant's own shrimps, it was almost 390B and came with little shrimps that were a bit bigger than frozen ones. What a rip-off. Would give 5 stars for the atmosphere/view if not for some tourists smoking. I thought restaurants are non-smoking area, or at least most of them. 🙄 2 stars might actually be...
Read moreTLDR: we had a good dinner. Probably won’t come back. Seafood was mega fresh. Cooking/service not great
Actually sat down before I read the reviews. Was def worried haha but I was as bad. Correct the service wasn’t amazing. You have to order with one person. In Thailand it’s sorta of unheard of so it was a bit confusing.
How it works: you pick your fresh seafood outside the store (note: you can actually go to the fresh market and grab live seafood from there too). Pay them first and then the restaurant will cook it as you please.
Fresh seafood: very fresh and I think the price is reasonable. We got lobster (rainbow) 1,700thb per kg and normal lobster 1,500thb per kg.
Taste: the taste of the seasoning/cooking is average or below average but the seafood was so fresh that it did most of the heavy lifting. Price of cooking range round 100thb per dish
NEED MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT: all the hot food seems like it sits for most than 10 mins after finished cooking before it gets to our table. Cheese on Lobster Thermidor was no longer cheesey. Our grilled scallops were a...
