Malakor Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Rawai

Lucky drive by and dropped in for dinner 2nd night here in Rawai. The only concern with this restaurant was the motor bike street noise. Every other aspect of our visit was 100%. Complimentary salad upon sitting down, followed by a very informative waitress (English barrier overcome), served icy cold beer 🍺 👌 and prompt food service. Food was scrumptious and high quality. Serves were too much for both of us to eat. Restaurant can only seat about 30, and was very soon filled to capacity. This is testament to the quality of this restaurant. We plan to go again before we leave Rawai....

Incredibly disappointing considering all the great reviews. The staff were nice and the presentation was good but the food was horrible.

I ordered drunken noodles (pad kee mao). They're supposed to be spicy, and I asked for spice, but there was no spice and no other flavour apart from an overpowering amount of kefir lime.

The noodles were full of large amounts of something inedible and fibrous (galangal or ginger?) It was like chewing carpet.

One of the worst meals we've had in two months...

Really good restaurant. Really close to my apartment when I stayed here in Nai Harn. My favorite restaurant in this area. Came here a couple of times. Good local cuisine. Good place for drinks as well. Had the hotpot here in my last night and I really enjoyed it. Huge portion and good price. Staff is very friendly...
