Margaret Rawai — Restaurant in Rawai

For me the most charming coffee shop I've visited un Phuket. It's located in a peaceful location surrounded by greenery and beautiful views listening to the sounds of nature. The same is the atmosphere there - very peaceful and also kind of homey. You feel like on a terrace of someone's house. Good place to clear your head and relax.

If you decide to go be aware of the opening times. Google says it's closed only on Tuesday but I went on Wednesday driving all the way from Patong and it was closed. There's a sign in the front saying "opened Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So only these 3 days. Google should correct this.

The coffee was very good, tried one of their homemade ice creams and to be honest it was pretty average, wouldn't have it again but not a big deal. The place is definitely worth paying a visit to at least once...

2nd visit and still wowed by the location! Amongst trees, the ocean view is amazing, all the way to Koh Racha. Super quiet, slight breeze (and fans) to keep us cool ... perfect.

Service is nice. Very discreet (super shy couple, Burmese perhaps?). Good coffees, amazing cakes!, I bought ice-cream to try home this time.

Wifi is decent, hardly anyone when we visited for our 'techie (morning) coffees', prices a little high but all home-made, yummie and ... the view!

23/01 - addition after trying their ice-cream ... just WOW! For me, a good test to a good ice-cream maker is their vanilla. Margaret's passed with flying colours. 1 regret: I should have bought more...

Nearly perfect place for weekends lazy breakfasts! Cons: although owners are speaking very good fluent English and some notices are in English, there is no any English menu in the restaurant there, only on Thai and owners are no bothering to explain what dishes they served, so you can chose from 3 photos of dishes, pinned to the bar counter.
