Having eaten dinner further down the road we decided to call into the Crepe House for something sweet. We ordered two crepes, one banana and one strawberry, both with vanilla ice cream. Now we were expecting the crepes to be light and fluffy, the photos in the menu certainly gave us that impression the way the crepes were folded over. When they both arrived they were served flat, not folded, and both had totally different consistencies. They were presented very similar to the roti so prevalent around the streets of Thailand. The strawberry crepe was dense, gluggy and chewy, not enjoyable at all. Sadly the strawberry were flavourless. The only redeeming factor was the vanilla ice cream. The banana crepe was better, a little more plump and airy and much more digestible. Service was slow, only two staff who were cooking and taking care of sit down customers and take outs too. They also have healthy juices and great coffe. I took a cappuccino with coconutmilk- try it! (not on the menu, but I do not drink milk so I asked). Very friendly staff.
