Utterly disappointed. The queue for Jay Fai round the corner was too long and Thipsamai havve yet to open at 4.30 pm. So we decided to give this place a try after reading some positive reviews( now I think people might have mistakenly reviewed their neighbour instead).There were German cockroaches crawling on the wall near the inner tables. The workers seem to think nothing of it. The pad thai standard was not even that of the mall foodcourts. The prawns were stale and I suspect some sort of artificial colouring was used to enhance the colour of the noodles. The portions were also small - not that we want to eat more of it. So they will continue to thrive from the spill over effects from its more illustrious neighbours. Please dont try as you will surely regret it. Actually I am not a big fan of this menu but once I have ever taste it from the near by restaurant, I realized that this menu is really fascinated.
However, with its small and locally style restaurant could bring to the overlook but the good thing is that there is no long queue here while the taste is great.
I do recommend you guys and also those tourists who love to have the original taste of Pat Thai to visit here.
There are varieties of Pat Thai offered but my favorite one is Pat Thai with shrimp’s fat and prawns on it (Prawn Pat Thai). I could say that this one is the most premium Pat Thai style and also the most expensive one but it worth trying.
