Perfectly good pad thai at a fraction of the price charged by the famous, Michelin-starred place next door or the astronomically priced, even more famous Michelin-starred joint with the long lines of waiting tourists at the end of the block. This is where local workers come to eat. But for the price, it’s still too high when you can get pad thai of equal quality for half the price anywhere else in Bangkok. Since good ratings and Michelin stars seem to spell the imminent demise of good street food, I’ll do Lueng Pha the kindness of giving it only three stars.

I don’t think they did a good job with Pad Thai. The food just tastes so sweet and nothing else. The prawn is big, but it smells a bit. The wait was quite a bit. I don’t think it is good enough for 120฿. Overall, fairly disappointing. I wanted to like it, but I couldn’t. If you’re planning to eat at the place with AC by this one though, just eat here. It’s still better.

This is the most sweetest Padthai in Thailand. I need to eat here because Thipsamai suddenly closed today. This shop is same price but the quality, taste and atmosphere is more worse than Thipsamai. I strongly don’t recommend this shop! Dirty shop but not cheap and worse taste. Not worth for money at all. Service is another level if compare with Thipsamai

Utterly disappointed. The queue for Jay Fai round the corner was too long and Thipsamai havve yet to open at 4.30 pm. So we decided to give this place a try after reading some positive reviews( now I think people might have mistakenly reviewed their neighbour instead). There were German cockroaches crawling on the wall near the inner tables. The workers seem to think nothing of it. The pad thai standard was not even that of the mall foodcourts. The prawns were stale and I suspect some sort of artificial colouring was used to enhance the colour of the noodles. The portions were also small - not that we want to eat more of it. So they will continue to thrive from the spill over effects from its more illustrious neighbours. Please dont try as you will surely regret it. To be fair there were pics of the owner with some celebrities on the wall. But I think that was a distant memory from a...

My husband whose favorite dish is Pat Thai bring me to this place.

Actually I am not a big fan of this menu but once I have ever taste it from the near by restaurant, I realized that this menu is really fascinated.

However, with its small and locally style restaurant could bring to the overlook but the good thing is that there is no long queue here while the taste is great.

I do recommend you guys and also those tourists who love to have the original taste of Pat Thai to visit here.

There are varieties of Pat Thai offered but my favorite one is Pat Thai with shrimp’s fat and prawns on it (Prawn Pat Thai). I could say that this one is the most premium Pat Thai style and also the most expensive one but it worth trying.

Definitely revisit this place and also wish you guys enjoy a very good Pat...
