This is a beautiful and clean hotel in a great location. You are walking distance to some key parts of the city and people such as Democracy Monument, the Royal Pavilion, Jay Fai, and her amazing food, plus the beautiful Wat Ratchanatdaram Worawihan (Loha Prasat). Depending on where your room is located, you can get some great views of the temple roofs. The hotel is beautifully decorated with amazing black and white photos of Thailand history. The furnishings and decorations add a sophisticated touch of class from the past. The staff is very kind and helpful. The king-size beds are very comfortable with a well designed bathroom and spacious shower. What really sets this hotel apart from others is their nicely attached bar with some choice selections of drinks, which also doubles as a dispensary. The cannabis selections and prices are very reasonable as well. So after a full day of visiting the gorgeous city and people, you can come back to your room, change into something relaxing, and head down to the bar by the front desk. There is no need to worry about catching a ride back to your hotel after a few drinks...
Read moreA very nice boutique hotel experience. The staff are friendly, and patient with language differences, helpful with directions and tips for restaurants and other places of interest. The hotel has lots of timber giving it a comfortable feel. When I first arrived the doorman took care of my luggage and the reception staff upgraded my room. It was so comfortable I spent my first half day just relaxing in my room and the patio, on the ground floor, just watching the goings on in the street. The hotel is just off the main road in Siam area in Bangkok. Quite close to fabulous temples, monuments and palaces. There are also some food vendors on the street outside serving delicious thai dishes until the afternoon, I recommend trying them for breakfast as the hotel's American breakfast is quite bland. You need to range further for evening meals, the iconic Khao San road area, for example, which is a 10 minute walk away. The Siam Champs Elyseesi Unique Boutique hotel is a very nice base in old Bangkok and I will recommend it to friends and stay there again...
Read moreTo add some perspective to my review of this hotel I am an American.I recently made use of this fine location with my wife and 8 month old child and have nothing but nice things to say about this location.the prices were more than reasonable it took little to no money to enjoy this hotel. Breakfast is indeed free and perfectly suitable.my wifi worked perfectly fine and I don't understand why anyone would complain especially considering the excellent service of the hotel staff.my hotel staff that I worked with nearly bend over backwards every day to help me out with taxi laundry tourism and other services that the fine city of Bangkok has to offer. They were absolutely nothing other than professional courteous and overtly friendly. they even went out of their way to Warn us with regard to some of the tourism-based pitfalls that were in the area and ensured that we weren't spending our money poorly. Plainly spoken, it was one of the most enjoyable 5 days I can remember....
