Normally I not be mentioning about Chinese food in Thailand, especially dim sum because it is so hard to find good ones around. But this restaurant I really want to share. Every piece of dim sum is just so tantalizing thanks to their scrumptious prawn rich filling. This is not like other dim sum places where the generosity of prawns is diluted down with pork and other “fillers”. We had their buffet dim sum which included dishes such as their Hong Kong Peking Duck, Deep Fried Mince Rock Lobster and Wagyu Beef Dumpling (which never came.. . I will come to that later... ). The restaurant is advertised as part of Anantara Hotel. We parked at the hotel and were quite surprised when we were told to walk over to the shopping mall opposite to find it. As we walked past the common shops, our spirits were doused thinking “oh no, this is just another restaurant in a mall”. But when we went beyond the entrance that featured a…. Picasso painted elephant, our opinion immediately changed. Inside, we got that “hotel feeling” back again. It was indeed contrastingly posh compared to the mall environment. We were early and were seated down in cozy round seat, I like. The staff were attentive, and we did not need to wait long for our food. Popular the place is and not too big the section, it soon started to fill to the brim. That was when some of our food never arrived, and we had to wait longer and longer. Also, the Peking duck pieces got smaller. Only one more thing. The Crispy Pork Belly’s skin did not “rise and puff” enough. The skin so hard that if grandma was here, I have to bring her to replace her dentures. The goods outweigh the cons here. The taste of all of their dishes we had measured up well to those good ones in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. It’s the real Chinese deal and I had no regret paying every Thai Baht of it. If you happen to be in this area or staying in a hotel nearby and missing good Chinese food, this place is very worth a meal in. I am sure to be back again someday, everything so...

Read moreWas looking for a nice dim sum buffet and came across this location. It's far from where I was staying, close to Siam Paragon, but easy to get to via BTS and hotel ferry.
Picked what I wanted from the menu and dishes started coming out one by one as they were ready. Quality, taste, and presentation were top notch. Service was very attentive.
For 1000bht, this was an awesome value and I ate way too much. Will definitely be coming back and...
