ร้าน The Swan BAR & Restaurant — Restaurant in Songkhla Province

A great place to spend the evening at. They have multiple TVs and a projector screen for weekend EPL football matches with the volume up so that you can also listen to the commentary. Food selection is pretty comprehensive ranging from Western, Thai, Indian etc. I find the pricing here rather reasonable for both food and drinks. The decor is very subtle and warm and the atmosphere is really cosy. Add in the level of service provided and you can spend hours here just chilling about. The only small issue I can find about the place is that most of the seating arrangement are meant for groups and there are really no couple or single occupant seating arrangement (with the exception of the bar counter). This is however a rather minor issue which would not stop me from visiting this place again. Do give this place a go next time...

This place opens at 11 in the morning so you don’t have to wait till evening to have a decent bite and wash it down with good beer. They have Erdinger white and dark beers, on top of an extensive offerings of cocktails and some local beers. My only gripe is the place felt too warm (without air-conditioning while I was there); I could have ordered another Erdinger Dunkel but instead have to leave as I was not accustomed to the heat and humidity. Nonetheless, a good place to chill...

I stopped here to have a beer n kill time while waiting for my overnight train to BKK after coming from Satun on the bus this morning. Swan has an olde world charm decorated as an English pub. I was the only one at 3.30pm which is not unusual as few bars if any are open before 5pm. I consider myself very lucky to have found this family pub only a few minutes walk from the train station.
