清姐 Che Seng Tuehuan Kiamchai — Restaurant in Songkhla Province

Came back here to eat after 2 yeras. Very crowded as usual because tourist are their main customer group on weekend. So it will be quite stuffy inside shop (grab the table seat outside shop will be much more cooling and comfortable to dine)

Service is good as usual, all their staff can communicate chinese or hokkien so for Malaysian communication won't be a problem. Find your table take and seat and their staff will come take order from you and they are attentive so don't worry of sitting down and worry of how to order. They will explain to you what they have on menu.

Ask for "kiap dan" to pay (lookout for their boss/person with calculator on hand that in charge for collecting payment)

Their usual menu are: -烧肉 thin sliced roast pork -猪脚pork leg -猪肚咸菜汤mixed pork innard salted vege soup These can be order as set with rice or order ala carte without rice which I did, so can try all.

Not sure it is me or what but their food quality has dropped, the thin sliced roast pork烧肉 used to have very crunchy skin and the meat is soft & tender which is just nice to eat(literally melt in mouth). But today the roast pork skin is hard to chew and sliced too thick which made it less enjoyable. Although tasted same beside too thick and not crunchy.

Pork leg猪脚 gladly it is still tasted good as usual.

Where as the mixed pork innard salted vege soup 猪肚咸菜汤was meet with slight disappointed I would say because it taste a bit bland to my memory. It used to have stronger flavour.

Toufu is ok, just average you may order but not a must to try.

Btw their chili sauce is good.

Overall is a good food to come for.

Will I recommend: 9/10 if you want to taste all that 3 pork dish all at once in a place.

Will I come back: maybe if I am feeling for it because been eating this...

ผมกับภรรยาไปใช้บริการเมื่อวัน 30 มีนาคม 2567 เพราะว่ามีเพื่อน ๆ แนะนำให้ไปกินบอกอร่อย คนนิยมไปกัน ไม่คิดอะไร ไหน ๆ ก็มาท่องเทียวและทำธุระ ไปตามเขาบอกหน่อยก็ดี

ไปนั่ง เจ้ผู้หญิงสูงอายุมารับออเดอร์ (เดาว่าคงเป็นเจ้าของร้าน) เราไม่รู้ว่าต้องสั่งอะไร เขาถามจะสั่งอะไร ด้วยน้ำเสียงห้วน ๆ หน้าตึง ๆ ดุ ๆ ไม่ยิ้มแย้มแจ่มใส แต่เราก็ไม่ได้ใส่ใจ ก็สไตล์คนจีนคนแก่ รุ่นอาม่า

ผมบอกไม่รู้จะสั่งอะไรดี สั่งไม่ถูก เจ้แกหันหลังกลับไป ไปหากระดาษเมนู A4 แล้วมาโยนให้ ย้ำว่าโยนนะครับ แต่โยนเบา ๆ แล้วพูดว่า ถ้าไม่รู้จะสั่งอะไร ก็ดูเอาเองก็แล้วกัน

ผมกับแฟนมองหน้าเจ้ ทำไมทำงี้ โยนให้ได้ไง เขารู้ตัวว่าเราไม่พอใจ เขาก็เดินหันหลังหนีไป

อารมณ์เสียแล้วครั้งที่ 1 แฟนถามไม่กินมั้ย แต่ผมก็ยังใจเย็น ใจเย็น ๆ ไม่เป็นไร ๆ เรามาเที่ยว ช่างมัน กินให้อร่อยดีกว่า

ต่อไป ดอกที่ 2 หนักสุด พอเราได้ของกิน ก็เออ ๆ อร่อย หมูกรอบอร่อย ลูกเราชอบกิน เราสั่งกลับโรงแรมไปใหลูกเรากินด้วยดีกว่า พยายามมองหาคนอื่นที่ไม่ใช้เจ้มารับออเดอร์ ไม่อยากคุยด้วย

แต่ก็ไม่มี สงสัยจะให้เจ้เป็นคนรับออเดอร์คนเดียว เลยต้องจำใจสั่งกับเจ้

แฟนผมบอก เอาหมูกรอบแบบนี้ พร้อมชี้ไปที่จาน กลับบ้าน 2 กล่อง พร้อมข้าวเปล่า 2 ถุง และสั่งเพิ่มอีก 1 จานกินนี่

เจ้เขาก็ทวนออเดอร์เอากลับบ้าน 2 ถุง กินนี่ 1 นะ ผมก็บอก ไม่ใช่ถุงดิ 2 กล่อง เจ้เขาก็บอก ที่นี่เรียกเป็นถุง เออ ๆ ถุงก็ถุงแล้วแต่เหอะ

พอถึงเวลา เด็กเอาตือฮวนมาส่งให้ที่โต๊ะ 3 ถุง ผมบอกไม่ได้สั่ง เด็กก็งง เดินกลับไปถามเจ้ เด็กเดินกลับมาใหม่ บอกผมสั่ง ผมก็ยืนยันคำเดิมว่าไม่ได้สั่ง

เท่านั้นแหละครับ เจ้แกเดินมา เสียงดัง ขึ้นเสียงไม่พอใจใส่ผมกับภรรยาเลย คือเสียงดังมากนะคนได้ยินทั้งร้านแย่มาก เจ้บอก ไม่ใช่ได้ไง ก็อุสาทวนออเดอร์แล้วว่า 3 ถุง ๆ

ผมกับแฟนก็เสียงดังกลับ เสียงดังเป็นคนเดียวหรือไง ไม่ได้มาขอกินฟรีนะ นี่เอาเงินมาให้นะ "ก็ไม่ได้สั่ง และไม่ได้สั่งผิดด้วย เจ้ทำผิด จดผิด ผมไม่เอา" ผมกับแฟนไม่โอเคแล้ว อร่อยแค่ไหนแต่ถ้าไร้มารยาทกับลูกค้าแบบนี้ไม่ไหวนะ

เจ้ยังไม่ยอมรับผิด ผมก็ต้องยืนยันว่าไม่ได้สั่ง แล้วเจ้ก็ยังเสียงดังไม่เลิก หันไปสั่งเด็กร้านเสียงดังแบบไม่พอใจผมกับแฟนสุด ๆ ว่า "เอาไปเก็บ ๆ เขาบอกไม่ได้สั่ง ๆ เอาไปเก็บเลย เอาหมูกรอบมา 3 กล่อง"

ผมกับแฟนได้ยินก็ยิ่งไม่พอใจ ก็เลยเสียงดังย้ำกลับไปอีกว่า "ก็ไม่ได้สั่งจริง ๆ ผมไม่ผิด ผมไม่เอา" เจ้ก็ถึงเสียงเบาลง แต่หน้าตาเจ้ไม่พอใจเราอย่างแรง เรายิ่งมองหน้า เราก็ยิ่งไม่พอใจเช่นกัน แล้วเจ้แกก็หนีหายไปหลังร้าน

พอของมาส่ง ผมเรียกเก็บเงินทันที ไม่อยากอยู่ร้านนี้ต่อไปอีกแม้วินาทีเดียว

น้องผู้ชายมาคิดเงิน เดาว่าคงจะเป็นลูกชายเจ้ น้องผู้ชายรีบบอกขอโทษแทนเจ้ด้วยนะครับ น้องสุภาพ บริการดี ผมก็คล้ายความโกรธลงไปบ้าง แต่แฟนผมไม่โอเคอย่างแรง ผมเลยบอกน้องว่าไม่เป็นไร ๆ ยิ้ม ๆ ให้น้อง เพราะน้องไม่ได้เป็นคนผิด คนที่ผิดคือเจ้

ต่อให้อร่อยแค่ไหน หรือแจกฟรี ผมคงไม่กลับไปใช้บริการอีกเป็นครั้งที่ 2

และขอแนะนำว่า ถ้าเจ้เขาจะเป็นคนนิสัยแบบนี้ อย่าให้ออกมารับลูกค้า หรือมาบริการครับ ให้อยู่หลังร้าน นั่งคิดเงินไป...

Some of the shop attendances speak simple Teochew/Cantonese/Chinese so it's still not too tough to communicate for tourists like us.

They are famous for their pork cutlets which are amazing, they promoted us for their taupok which were well soaked in the gravy - juicy and nice, braised pork knuckles are soft and tender, pork blood are nice!

We ordered the pork organ soup without checking what's inside but if you don't enjoy innards, do inform what you do not wish to have - I thought the big intestines and small intestines were good and without funky smell/taste and they cooked it well too.

Worth a return visit for sure, however do check when is the prayer day of the week before visiting as they will be closed (it can be any day of the week as it's based on some calendar calculations which we were not...
