Aun Jai Seafood Ko Pha-Ngan — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

I ordered a noodle soup and specifically told them NOT to add meat because I wanted a vegetarian soup with tofu. It arrived after 40 minutes with fish balls and pieces of chicken. I informed the staff, and they apologized for the mistake and took the soup back.

After 10 minutes, they returned the soup with tofu, but the fish balls were still in it. Since I’m a pescetarian, I didn’t mind the fish balls, as I didn’t want to wait any longer. However, halfway through the soup, I found another piece of chicken.

The staff told me they would reduce the price from 120 baht to 100 because I had “finished” the food—which wasn’t true, as I stopped eating immediately after finding the chicken. After a five-minute discussion, the server simply left and brought the bill. My meal was crossed out, which was probably the most positive part of the experience.

Worst seafood I have ever eaten in my life. The person in service was very cocky and tries to rip you off I you don’t ask for the price, they don’t measure in kg but pieces. Food was not bad but also nothing spectacular. Pad Thai was pink for some reason? Funny but tastes alright. The pineapple juice was not blended well so it was kinda hard to drink any of the liquid with the chunks of the fruit in it.
