If you enjoy pasta or pizza, you will without a doubt enjoy a meal or two here. Fresh handmade pasta, delicious pizza dough, and immaculate vibes.

The red wine was surprisingly delicious and complimented the entire course.

We enjoyed the tagliatelle with seafood and an anchovy & caper pizza which was beyond my expectations. The dough was light and slightly crispy yet strong. The sauce, cheese and topping ratio was perfection. The sauce of the tagliatelle fruti de mare was creamy, sensational and delicious.

The restaurant had a lovely patio overlooking Malibu beach, the server was extremely kind, even moved us halfway through service to a better table once made available.

To my personal taste this is by far not the most delicious pizza on the island. I am rooting for Angel’s bay for this particular dish (although I’ve heard its owners changed, so this might be an outdated opinion). I understand however the popularity of this place, since it’s strategically well located and, most importantly, the prices are really affordable. The thing is, one should understand that better ingredients cost more. If you’re okay with the cheapest mozzarella from Macro and canned olives — this one might pass. To me, it’s pretty overrated. Love this place. Such a great atmosphere. Proper Italian. The chef / owner is Italian, and cooks all the food himself. Delicious, simple menu focussing on what they do best - homemade pastas, pizza and a few other select dishes. His wife handles front of house, and is super friendly.
