After living in munchen for 5 years and enjoying fresh,authentic spelt, rye and grunkorn bread (all free of wheat) evey day, i really can’t understand why this place calls themselves a german bakey. We asked for whole rye bread and were told by the lazy lady that no whole rye bread is available. We asked what the gluten free bead in the refrigerator was. She said “rye and rice flour”. We asked if we could get a fresh loaf and she said no, “only bake by slice”. So, I am a chef and a baker for over 30 years, and I can say that bread is not baked by the slice, but by the loaf, and only then cut into slices. Clearly North Coast Bakery doesn’t want to sell any bread. It seems they only want you to look at bread in the refrigerator...
Read moreGetting worse every time, now it’s enough. They sold me their croissants from the day before, dry as hell, impossible to eat. At least tell your customer and give a discount. No you pay full price and just have to throw your food when you’re back home. Too bad because it used to be a great place but as in many other on KPG the Thai people working do adapt, but now rude, just looking alike the new people colonizing this island....
