Lad Koh View Point — Attraction in Surat Thani Province

Lad Koh Viewpoint is an easy stopping point between Chaweng Beach and Lamai Beach to get a coastal overview on the east side of Samui. There is plenty of parking directly in front of the viewpoint and places along the upper level walkway for a quick selfie if you're in a hurry. If you have some time to spend, it's worth exploring the multiple walkways that take you down the hillside. You'll be rewarded for taking this trek with some even better viewpoints. Perfect spot for photograph. As it is just by the main road , it is easier to hop off the bike n enjoy some scenic beauty. Can see the entire stretch of chaweng on the left opposite corner. Evenings are mesmerising as entire chaweng comes alive on one side and the rest of the sea is filled with tiny lights from the innumerable fishermen's boats out in the sea. Can also see in the sky the flights taking off or some nearing landing. This place is on a hill. If anybody wishes one can walk down the steps right to the beach down below. This is one spot not to be missed in Samui! One of the nicest view from the upper hill area and stunning view. It is a very peaceful area, refreshments are available and not to miss the ice cream truck. The coconut sandwich was exceptional and really tasty. The owner of the ice cream truck is very kind and friendly and she offers a selection of toppings that you can enjoy either with cup ice cream or waffle.

Only challenge is the car park is not big, maybe 4 to 5 cars slots. Enjoy the view...
