Da's Sandwiches — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Both the food and the staff was amazing. However, when I was giving the owner my order he was counting money in the cashier, like full on touching coins and notes, and then without cleaning his hands or wiping them off on anything he proceeds to start preparing my food with his dirty hands. Touching literally every single ingredient with his bare hands. It didn't bother me much at first because of the food hygiene standards here in SEA is not like the west and I've experienced worse, but this guy was not local, white and spoke perfect English, in other words he should have known better. Also, the location is very convenient as it is located really close to the pier, but the seating area is right next to one of the canals which runs into the sea. This canal however, is dirty, littered with trash and definitely smelled like it also had sewer water running through it. I know that this is mostly out of their control, but considering their prices have gone up a lot recently and that they don't have a lack of customers, I think they should move locations to somewhere...

Checked in for my morning ferry and then thought, “good God I would do anything for a great quick breakfast sandwich.” Without googling, I merely walked about 30m south of the pier and Da angel of the Lord showed favor upon me. In less than 5 min, I had a chicken, bacon, egg and cheese piled high in stacks upon stacks, accompanied by fresh lettuce and tomato. It was wrapped, cut and wrapped again separately so there’s the perfect “half for now, half for later” scenario; didn’t have to ask. I could feel the jealous eyes gazing on the wonder of my first half sandwich, their noses not able to deny the presence of greatness. The balance of ever so slightly crispy fried chicken cutlets paired with the salty smoky goodness of bacon and savory egg in this godsend sandwich will surprise and delight you. Have a hangover? This fixes it. Longing for a break from rice and noodles? Here you go. I almost ditched the ferry to have this sandwich again tomorrow. Have Da best breakfast sandwich in Thailand while...

I kept coming to Da eveyday Sometimes is twice a day. All the sandwiches are amazing. I cant even stoped about the crunchy chicken sandwich damage hell GOOD.... behide the tasted Da is supper coool guy with sence of costumer service plus good command in English and other languages as well soooo immmm sure you guys would get right to the point of the order. The first location just closed to the songserm pier and second is on Sairee beach. Hope you guys enjoying the sandwiches as I did and have fun in Koh Tao..... last one price is...
