Friends of Friends — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Good experience overall, had a cottage cheese crepes and cappucino. Staff is very attentive, atmosphere cozy and just perfect for a lazy morning. Food 4/5, some jam or fruits could be added to this dish, coffee also 4/5, tastes good but as for cappucino is not strong enough, tastes and looks like latte. Biggest disandavtage of the place - they charge extra 10% service fee which wasn't mentioned while making an order, nobody likes hidden fees. Probably it was mentioned somewhere in small letters on the menu, but this is not the thing you look for before having...

The place is very hot. It took 35 minutes to serve a simple breakfast of scrambled eggs with sausages and bacon. The food is absolutely mediocre and this dish costs 350 baht. It's not an attractive interior design with artificial flowers inside. It's not entirely clear why one should pay such inflated prices for a dish.

The salmon with a potato pancake was okay, but the salmon wasn't freshly cured and the egg on top was poorly cooked with raw whites. The desserts looked good, but I didn't try them.

Huge disappointment. We were looking for a place to eat breakfast and we stopped at this restaurant. There were only a few people besides us however we waited over an hour for our food. When we finished our meals we finally received our orange juices that we ordered at the very beginning. The portions were small and pricey compared to other restaurants in the area. The restaurant seems clean (except for the kitchen) so at least you get an illusion of a well...
