La Fabrique French Bakery Lamai — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Strange feeling, food look great and quality but choice so limited. I go out from here without any breakfast.

My husband ordered ChongMon big breakfast, i ordered Bruschetta smoke salmon, but bruschetta comes without salmon. When we ask where salmon?!? They said they forgot put, but anyway this dish was without any cheese, that's why we cancel, also don't want wait more. After we ask can order extra only salmon, or salmon with cheese, because baguettes too big, and not fun to eating just bread without nothing, if want only Baguette can buy from them 20 bath, they said - no can not order anything extra (salmon, cheese, bacon, ham) Everywhere where serve breakfast you can.. So, if you don't like to eat only bread with butter, or desserts, or simply eggs any style what can eat everywhere, want something special i think it's not here. Choice very very limited. I'm disappointed. Come by reviews, but really...

Team: always grumpy, been here several times but never saw a smile from anyone when going there, maybe because I‘m a woman. They are only friendly towards white men. Today I ate in house for the first time, bought a bread first and sat down. Nobody came to give me a menu. Do I look like I want to eat that whole loaf of bread here? Had to make eye contact several times to get their attention. Will not eat in there again.

Bread: ok. Not crunchy very chewy..but better than other breads here.

Pastries: lack of taste, almond or vanilla or whatever, everything is just sweet but not tasteful.

Sandwich: had my first ever sandwich in there today, thats why I finally leave a review. It sadly was very bleak, the eggsalad tasted like nothing. And the salad was not washed so I had dirt in my sandwich, see photo.

Overall not...

Good breakfast, the omelette with fried tomatoes was very delicious.The prices are reasonable for the international cuisine. You can also buy pastry for to go. I’m giving the four stars because of the staff, I ordered the scrambled eggs and ask them to put the cheddar cheese in to the eggs. After few minutes they told me that it couldn’t be done it (don’t know why, because I ordered the same few days ago and got it) so I told them that it’s ok and that I will order eggs without the cheese. When the eggs came, some kind of cheese (definitely not cheddar like it’s said on the menu) was on top of the eggs. It was ok, but I think it’s not ok when you get something what you didn’t order (or said you don’t want to) and then charge...
