Mr.Massage — Local services in Ko Samui

Mr. Massage knows what he’s doing. This isn’t your comfy, pleasure massage. This gentleman is a healer. I threw out my SI Joint the day before traveling to Thailand. Not the best timing just before traveling for 30 hours. By the time I got to Koh Samui I was seized up. I googled chiropractors and learned Dr. Christian at +66 87 266 1144 (very nice man) was pretty much the only one on the island. I also read about Mr. Massage right next to the hotel. On the way to him I managed to fall victim to the uneven sidewalk and arrived at his place scuffed up and bleeding. He told me his schedule was full and ordered me for next day. Then he noticed my bleeding leg and insisted on treating my would with iodine, then bandaged me up. Next day he went to work on me and did a phenomenal job. No neck crack = no massage.

Just a heads up that you can only get a back massage here if you agree to have your neck cracked.

After a few friends told me they had massages here with unexpected neck cracking, I asked him before he started not to crack my neck.

He said because the back is connected to the neck, unless I allow him to crack my neck he will refuse to do the massage.

Seems a bit extreme, but such is his rule - so I had to leave.

If you’re cool with having your neck cracked, this is likely an awesome massage but for anyone like myself who doesn’t want their neck cracked, this is not your place.

New edit: just to comment on his reply to my review, I did not have any pain in my shoulders / back - I booked the massage to see if i could increase my range of shoulder mobility as suggested by my trainer at the gym. Making an assumption that someone who doesn’t want their neck cracked isn’t “wanting to get better”...
