We (a party of 4 persons) have been the second time to Mama Kop today and have tried many of the dishes by now. Not one of the dishes was to our dislike, they simply serve great food!
The glass noodle salad with chicken was truly life-changing. An explosion of flavor, a mouth-watering dish! The chicken satay was very tasty and the accompanying peanut-sauce was the best I have ever been served. The Panang curry with chicken is just right - a creamy texture, full of flavor and not too spicy. The stir fried chicken with cashew nuts is among the best I have had so far. For the first time I have tried the fried ginger with chicken and this too, was extremely tasty. The furniture is simple, but clean. But let's be honest, we are here for the food, not for the furniture. And the food is simply great! I wish I could eat more, but after a starter (glass noodle salad) and main course (fried ginger with chicken) I am so satisfied and full, I cannot eat anything anymore. Read moreWonderfull location, 2ms from the sea, especially when sunset time it is amazing. The service is quick but makes you feel like this isn't his favorite job. It feels and taste like they clash the food. Uncooked. They are fast but cooking by heart and focus on a better taste and final food quality is missing! :( I try many simple thai restaulant and street cooking and I prefer places where I see and feel they cook and sercve with happiness. Luckily I can see the chef most of the places because kitchens are open. I was is a hurry that time and location was good thats why I made a try bit normaly when I see chef in bad mode or clashed cooking style I turn around and leave place. Very important not only the food quality but the energy what chef put into the food. If it is also important for you...

In sum, visit for the cheap beach eats and sunset, but if you want authentic Thai flavours,...
