Ook Ook — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

We were not guests at the hotel the restaurant is connected to but the restaurant is supposedly open to the public.

Needless to say, they were not welcoming. No staff came to greet us and offer a table. Once we approached one of the waitresses, she said we aren’t allowed to sit outside (there were free tables outside and other people sitting there eating), that if we wanted food we needed to sit inside… which clearly isn’t as appealing to do a sunny day at a beach restaurant.

If you aren’t a resident of the hotel this restaurant is connected to, I would not bother trying this place.

Don’t be fooled by the fancy branding it’s all style...

Good food with reasonable price amidst Chaweng beach area and is connected to the beach with many more Watersport activities to enjoy including SUP, Kayak and Aqua Trike. I stay at nearby hotel but visiter this place for late breakfast because my hotel doesn't provide it (or maybe it's too late coz I can't see their restaurant open).
