Authentic Thai food for very affordable prices. Staying in the Mae Nam area, we ate here quite a few times already.

The food is prepared at the front of the restaurant with fresh ingredients. The cook - and assumably owner - is friendly and seems to have lots of fun engaging with tourists. When we complimented the food, she seemed to have been genuinely happy about it. Over all a very charming experience.

The food was so good that we went there for lunch and went again for dinner on the same day. A main dish is ~100+/- thb.

While some dishes include chilis that are going to be spicy in nature, apart from that the spiciness can be regulated with a chili powder shaker placed on the table which means you can enjoy a spicy meal if you're used to it or have a reasonably spicy meal for palates that are only used to european cuisine. A lot of dishes can be ordered without meat, which can be hard to find for people who are vegetarian, vegan, or just don't feel like eating meat all too often. "Caution" - ordering Tom Kha (soup) will bless you with a full main dish and not an entrée.

As can be seen by the prices, this is not a commercial restaurant, so accordingly, the ambience is somewhat rustic/local, which definitely has...

I honestly don't believe it deserves the ratings...

The food is okay, but nothing crazy. I tried Par Thai - which was better than some places I tried, but nothing crazy. I think solid 4 stars is a fair rating.

If you want cocktails, try someplace else, they're not good or worth the money here.

Also. If you have more complicated request, the English of the server is not on the highest level, so keep in mind that:)

Nice overall, but I don't think that such high reviews are accurate, since there are better...

We just had dinner at this lovely little restaurant. The owner is very nice and you can tell that she loves to cook. We had two starters and two main courses. The papaya salad was amazing and the spring rolls were the best we ever had. Main courses were Pad Thai with Shrimps and Pad Krapao with Seafood. Together with two Singha and a Soda we payed 580 bath - which was an excellent price in our opinion. We will come back for sure and you should visit this amazing restaurant too!...

We have been coming to Thailand for almost 10 years and have tried our fair share of Thai restaurants. You can trust us, this one is worth visiting. All dishes were wonderful and the owner is lovely. It’s in a side street off the main road, hence, no street noise. Make sure to mention if you can’t handle spice, as the base level (“ped not noi”) is still probably quite spicy for the average European. For us it was just the perfect amount. We will come back!
