We went here after another restaurant was closed. The staff was super friendly when we walked in and we sat down to immediately order. Maybe the longest I’ve ever waited for Thai food, it took about one hour. Pretty sure there was only one lady making food in the back but there was two staff behind the bar drinking beers and three other patrons also drinking. Just seemed like quite a lot of people standing around for the food to take so long and being the only people in the restaurant made it more annoying. The chicken cashew nut was absolutely drenched in oil and the green curry chicken was half carrots, that was a first! The inside of the restaurant is cool if you like that hippie type of vibe, lots of inspirational quotes on the walls and things like that. To me it kind of came off as a walking cliché but whatever, I only paid attention to that because the food took forever. Ordered the coconut ice cream because I read it was really good but it was served with chocolate sauce on top(?). It was hard to tell the flavor of the ice cream because chocolate was in every bite. Read moreThis place is FANTASTIC!!!!! It’s EXCELLENT value and wonderful tasty food 😍 we’ve eaten here two days in a row bc it’s so tasty, and the owner is an absolute gem 🙏🏻 PLS NOTE-there is only one cook-this is not a million dollar resort with a whole staff of cooks etc, this is one wonderful lady running a small business. Your food may take longer but it’s worth it-if you’re pressed for time then go order McDonalds. This food is worth waiting for!!🤩she also makes delicious cold drinks-we drank the brown sugar milk bc it is divine. Support a lovely local family and check this place out,you won’t be disappointed!! We made the mistake of spending big money at a beach resort when we could of been here for twice the flavour and three times better...
Read moreAeh, Lek, Pan, and the rest of the staff team run an amazing restaurant and chill out spot! They are all such happy, helpful, and laid back people - I will never forget my interactions with them. I was in Ko Kut for one week and spent multiple days here eating, hanging out, and even participating in a cooking class that they offer. Everything I ate (about four different items) was fresh and delicious. The menu has something for everyone and the space itself is cheerful, clean, and relaxed. I am so glad I discovered Chill Out during my time in Ko Kut. This is definitely a place you will want to not just eat at, but also hang out in. Thank you Chill Out for the...
