WARI Coffee — Restaurant in Trat Province

The rudest people in the whole of Thailand! I went there for a takeaway coffee. I wasn't planning to stay, as I was carrying my dog. I repeat: carrying my dog meaning he was in my arms and not on the floor. The lady said that dogs are not allowed. So I proceeded to exit the coffee shop toward the beach. She started shouting at the TOP OF HER VOICE at me for absolutely no reason. So there are two things wrong here: 1) if your staff doesn't like tourists, you should employ staff that likes tourists, as this is the ONLY source of income of your sub-standard business 2) the beach DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU so you have no right to shout at me! I wanted to buy a coffee from you and take it away, I was a paying customer and you treat me this way? For what reason? I see many other people indicated that the staff are rude, lazy and shout at tourists. If you don't like tourists, then please open a tyre repair shop or a hairdresser shop, not a coffee shop. We parked the car in the Wari car park, took a short walk to a beautiful beach and then sat with our Cafe Wari drinks feeling the breeze off the ocean. There were options to sit in bean bags, tables or wooden recliner benches outdoors or in aircon indoors. The views are lovely and the beverages refreshing. We then wandered along the beach and finished up back on their grassed area before heading back to the car. It’s a small cafe that offers many drinks and desserts. Initially I wanted to sit indoor because I didn’t want to sweat in the afternoon heat. But after I got my mango smoothie I went to check outside and I was pleasantly surprised with the soft wind blowing the trees, the waves leaving soft ripples and the cool shade under the trees.
