Nong Bua Seafood Klong Prao — Restaurant in Trat Province

very amazing experience, staff is really kind and nice, always smiling and super friendly! waiters and waitresses are very good at english, the food was also really amazing combining authentic thai flavors with western style cuisine, there’s also alot of variety throughout the dishes, such examples are such as fish in the hotpot, stir fried meals, spaghetti and the fried rice is their speciality, the rice was fresh and was not lacking in seasoning nor taste, there’s also an appetizer meal for kids and picky eaters 😉 the appetizers contains french fries and chicken nuggets, the drinks are also really refreshing made with real fruits, the price is also fairly cheap for an island in the middle of the ocean, the dishes varies from as low as 60 baht to 200 baht! i went there during the evening so the only thing that wasn’t up to 5 stars was the atmosphere, the restaurant is well decorated but the insects and mosquitoes (yikes!) but overall this restaurant is worth leaving the expensive hotel dinner for, would definitely...

The place looks nice and it seems that it tastes nice. But the service is really and I don’t see any reason visiting a place, where waiters are forgetting about you. They don’t come to take an order and once they do, they don’t remember that anymore.

Ordered red curry with rice and fresh coconut. Red curry arrived very fast, I guess it was just boiled and ready just like any other soup in other places.

They didn’t bring fresh coconut and second rice. And you know, prices aren’t low like street food, so the service was disappointing. Left without eating the red curry even though it was full, because just didn’t want to stay there anymore.

Plus, it’s very very humid in that place. Both clients and staff have been sweating. So consider it before...

Great people watching if you like getting odd looks by scowling Thai grandparents. Didn't understand why everyone was looking so mean.

Poor customer service and food quality. The teenage bus boys were dead behind the eyes. We asked for plain rice 4 times across a 30minite window. It did come and was eventually the best dish we were served. The steamed curry was good if you like the baby vomit to be gloopy and overflowing and the pineapple fried rice was nice, but served in a pineapple that looked used many times over. Careless.
