Very old and authentic restaurant. The duck, crispy pork, and its gravy are just superb. The taste is delicious with some scent of herb that I never find elsewhere. Very long queue and can run out of material quickly, better to call to order in advance. The place has no air-conditioner and no proper parking, so I usually order ahead and take home. It's just opposite Nang Loeng Market. If parking is not a problem for you, you can also cross the street (there's a pedestal crossing right in front of the shop) and browse around the market. Lots of delicious noodle shops there.

BBQ Pork [1/5] 🍖 We arrived at 1 pm, but unfortunately, the roasted duck had already sold out. The owner informed us that they still had BBQ Pork available, so we ordered a plate without rice. However, the BBQ Pork was extremely disappointing. 🐟 It was tough and had a very unpleasant flavor. Both the pork and its sauce tasted fishy, with no hint of BBQ flavor. Service [5/5] 🤝 The staff was exceptionally humble, friendly, and fluent in Chinese. They even provided two soups for us, despite us ordering only one plate of BBQ Pork. The staff also suggested that we visit The Old Siam Plaza for a walk. Ambience [2.5/5] ☀️ The shop is an old traditional establishment located beside a main road. It can be very hot, noisy, and dusty during the afternoon. Value [2.5/5] 💲 Priced at 60 Baht for a plate of BBQ Pork, it was slightly expensive but acceptable. If I were in the area again, I would like to try their famous roasted duck instead.

Lunchtime found me here at 13:30. The menu features a variety of roasted meats, including duck, red pork, and crispy pork. This eatery has been around for a while. I missed out on the roasted pig but scored some roasted duck because of my tardiness. Roasted duck may not have the most memorable taste, but the meat is wonderful. We need to have some sample pork waiting for us when we return.

The shop is currently operated by 3rd generations. For folks that are familiar with Chinese style bbq duck and roast pork, albeit you won’t be blown away by the food but you’d understand why it’s been around for as Ling as it did. For tourist there’s definitely other thing that is more “local”.

Great food, cheap prices. This place is on lists of food spots to not miss while in Bangkok and for good reason. Food tours also hit this place up. 60 TBH for a dish. We tried the poke and rice, duck and rice, and duck soup. Yum. So simple but still some of the best food we’ve had.

They only do two things - crispy pork belly and roast duck and they do them very well. Pork belly is fatty and crispy and the duck is cooked just right. The sauce and accompanying soup/broth was also good. Restaurant is simple and rustic - I think it's only open at lunch times.
