BBQ Pork [1/5] 🍖 We arrived at 1 pm, but unfortunately, the roasted duck had already sold out. The owner informed us that they still had BBQ Pork available, so we ordered a plate without rice. However, the BBQ Pork was extremely disappointing.
🐟 It was tough and had a very unpleasant flavor. Both the pork and its sauce tasted fishy, with no hint of BBQ flavor.
Service [5/5] 🤝 The staff was exceptionally humble, friendly, and fluent in Chinese. They even provided two soups for us, despite us ordering only one plate of BBQ Pork. The staff also suggested that we visit The Old Siam Plaza for a walk.
Ambience [2.5/5] ☀️ The shop is an old traditional establishment located beside a main road. It can be very hot, noisy, and dusty during the afternoon.

Read moreVery old and authentic restaurant. The duck, crispy pork, and its gravy are just superb. The taste is delicious with some scent of herb that I never find elsewhere. Very long queue and can run out of material quickly, better to call to order in advance. The place has no air-conditioner and no proper parking, so I usually order ahead and take home.
It's just opposite Nang Loeng Market. If parking is not a problem for you, you can also cross the street (there's a pedestal crossing right in front of the shop) and browse around the market. Lots of delicious noodle...
Read morea classic old Town red pork shop. The stools and tables are all older than me. The aunty is nice. The red pork is amazing. I was not a huge fan of the duck or sauce, but it is a great experience for any of the tourists in BKK. I have had better red pork but it is one of the better ones I have had. With it being only a few minutes from the grand palace it was a great way to get local food for any tourist. Would recommend if you can!
