Only given one star because I couldn't give a zero! The fact is My Grandson and I didn't experience the food or the drink!! We arrived at about 11.45 and my 19 month Grandson was hungry. It was a nice day so I thought we would sit outside, however I had to enter the pub, buggy, baby and all to get some menus. No Children menus were in siight so I asked a tall, dark haired male member of staff for one. He pointed to the other side of the pub and said they're there. I looked at him in disbelief, you want a lone adult with a baby in a buggy to cross the entire pub to retrieve a menu?? The Member of staff just disappeared. I kept my Grandson by the door and literally ran across the pub to get a menu. We battled our way back outside. I proceeded to order on the app but the entire child's menu(all of it) said unavailable. The same member of staff came out and I asked him for some assistance with the issue. He just said "I don't know, nothing to do with us its head office" I asked what he would suggest I do "Go inside and order at the bar" he said!!!I again pointed at My Grandson in the buggy and said "How"? He shrugged his shoulders and walked back inside. A nice couple on a different table looked as bemused as I did. I did think about Buggy, Baby, Shopping and menus going into the pub and we tried. By this time there was a queue and My Grandson just wanted Pasta. I put the menus on the tables and said we won't stay. And believe it or not the same member of staff actually LAUGHED at me as we vacated. Disgusting customer service from start to finish. I have told all my family and we actually cancelled our plans to go there on Sunday, all 8 of us. As an ex Licensee and Wetherspoons Manager I was appalled. I'd be ashamed if My Team Members behaved like that to any customer let alone a solo...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusting service. Me and my partner went for some food and before we even sat down got asked for ID as it was after 9 o clock (baring in mind it was 8.50) okay, fair enough gave the woman our ID. She then came back over not even 5 minutes later to ask to see them again to run them under the UV light. At this point, we decided we no longer wanted to eat there as the welcoming had been shocking. we went over to the bar to retrieve our IDs to which we was asked to show our signature. After trying to discuss our concerns, the woman (with blonde hair) proceeded to cut us off and have a disgusting attitude. I explained I have worked for the chain and understood how it worked and I was not happy with the service. When refusing to provide signatures and just wanted to leave, she then commented ‘the way you’re behaving you’re clearly under 18’. If this woman had known the policy as she claims to, she would know that when verifying identification documents you are required to scan them under UV at first glance. To say this is a new pub, the service is disgraceful, myself and partner are both over the age of 20 and the way we have been treated is appalling. AVOID...

Went for a family tea on 1st November.
Nice interior, which felt a little cramped with so many tables. It was very busy when we arrived around 7pm. Thankfully we spotted a free booth.
It was incredibly noisy and difficult to have a conversation.
We ordered via the app and drinks arrived fairly quickly. Our meals arrived within 15 to 20 minutes of ordering on the app.
They food tasted good, was reasonably well presented and good value, although each of the meals were tepid and not piping hot.
The waiting staff weren't overly friendly during our visit, and we noticed that a number of them were openly arguing with one another.
The bar staff were friendly and helpful.
Despite not carrying any dishes/drinks at the time, some of the staff blocked the way to the toilets for my elderly mother in law (and accompanying wife), feeling that they (the staff) should have priority and expressed their annoyance.
It's new, so I would expect teething troubles, although I doubt that I...
