Just want to say my husband and I bought food from here on Saturday night and it wasnât very good we were really disappointed. We were so looking forward to our food. I had vegetable noodles with Manchurian chicken and crispy prawns. I asked for advice as I didnât want anything that was spicy. I was told mine wasnât spicy. My husband had egg fried rice, sweet and sour chicken and crispy chicken. On arriving home my meal was so spicy đśď¸ I couldnât eat it!! My husbandâs meal was bland and boring and the rice wasnât cooked properly, it was hard. This meal was ÂŁ16.85. You can check this on the receipt I have attached and what we had. Not sure why you have to choose two dry dishes and sauce that actually isnât just sauce and then meat/fish???? Thereâs no need itâs just too much and all crammed into one pot!! I would definitely not recommend anyone eating food from there unless they like spicy food! We will definitely not be buying food from there again. Obviously I would like a refund but Iâm sure I probably wonât get one!
Just like to put an update following my review I had a telephone call from the Manager at Leeds. He followed up my review and said he would look into my concerns and offered me a voucher for ÂŁ20 to use in the Leeds store and try to give me a better experience. He also said I could call him when I was going so he could offer his help in achieving this. So weâll see what happens when I return and depending on the outcome I might be able to give a five...
Read moreGo somewhere else or get somebody else to do it! Let me start by saying, i was looking forward to this as i was told by my colleagues that the food was nice so, obviously there was no hesitation to try it. First of all, the rice wasn't cooked it was half done, it was like they sprinkled uncooked rice in cooked rice. The spring rolls where like rocks! So dentures beaware! They forgot most of my order and it was unfortunate that I didn't check my order until I reach home. Obviously the drive back would have been insane. The sweet and sour chicken was food colouring and Diabetes.. My order for two consisted of uncooked boiled rice and sweet and sour chicken with one being egg fried rice but it was rice with egg sprinkled at the top.. It was crazy! Let me be clear for the sake of your bowls and also the price you're paying this is NOT WORTH IT. I paid between 20-30 for food that was sub parr if not undercooked. Honestly, so disappointed in my self and my spend. Please rethink where you're spending your money or let my review be a warning to you. Surcharge or not this need to be looked into. After my nightmare experience, I was talking to friends and also family memebers who also had the same experiences some gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again but it was the same missing food or terribly under cooked. But at this point they should have forewarned me. Anyways, this is clearly common practice for them. Go to M&S or Sainburys and buy the ingredients!...
Read moreHi, First of all, let me mention I have been a regular customer at this very place before Oodles came up. Earlier it was Wok and Go. I am sure there are several people like me/family who love Chinese/Oriental dishes and love to come, eat and return back .
Unfortunately though, although the ambience and location is excellent, your service seems to be gone below par and most importantly the amount of chicken or other stuff (except rice/noodles) that you deliver in individual boxes (without you even bothering to notice) is quite minimal and with less sauce/gravy . Have noticed this happening before as well, we pay the full price yet get half-hearted dish with literally less/no sauce, and less chicken types. Have you noticed that you charge a good price for individual items yet you put in less chicken/gravy/sauce although the amount of rice/noodles is okay? How is the person going to eat if the dish is not prepared right? May I know the reason for this , is it a good genuine service you are offering? Why can't you be honest and offer a good dish with good amount of chicken, etc with the rice/noodles! Ignore if you want, but people observe and notice, and if you want to sustain your brand and reputation then please be honest with your customers and give them what is rightfully...
