I dined in today with a pretty big group, we did make a reservation, but the tables were not set up for the full party on our arrival. There was a backdrop from a previous booking very close to our area, which made it very cluttered & congested. The group was surprised to arrive and realized that the entire menu found on their social media was changed and to make it absolutely HORRIBLE the cafe did not have coffee, unless you count a $20 cup of black coffee that im 95% sure was Hong Wing. I arrived well after my group (30 mins into the reservation) and placed my order within 5 mins, received my food about 30 mins later- ofc it was cold, but guess what, it was also the WRONG Order. My cup of coffee was simply terrible, cold like dog nose as the saying goes. When I finally got the correct order (still cold), it was okay. I had a Spinach and Mushroom omlete with toast. If the toast was hot it would have been divine. The omelet didn't come with Feta cheese which is the regular pairing. It was also quite salty. The egg was also well done and very tough to cut through. I feel like it was canned mushrooms, not sure it was just salty (I'm writing this and still tasting the salt). Overall, I feel like if you're looking to brunch and need coffee, don't visit, it'll be a total disappointment. Clearly they are trying to get both the brunch and night life demographic, and it's just not it. At the very least they could spend some time investing in updating their socials with accurate information, and oh contact info (cause we took 3 days to get through with a ressi, which we ended up doing in person). Oh also, not friendly for kids if your kid can't sit at the table, there is no High chair and the washroom is the mall washroom very far away.

First time trying since they moved to the new location, I really liked the layout and decor, very different from how it was before, so 9/10. It was a Friday night so I expected a few delays but after waiting 20 minutes after being seated I had to flag down another waitress to take my order since the original waiter was MIA even though I was seeing him and tried to get his attention. (Persons that came after us got their orders in and drinks before us sadly) 2/10 for him. However, the waitress who took over was very professional. She spoke with kindness and was very apologetic and actually checked in with us a few times throughout the night. So 10/10 for her. Drinks were spot on the Piña Colado was 10/10. Really like the Flamingle Bomb I think it was called that. The small chicken bites. It was hot but delicious and paired well with the sauce. 10/10 I only got to take a pic of my BBQ Lamb, fries, and coleslaw. I don't usually eat coleslaw, but this was really tasty. It had a sweet taste, and I enjoyed dipping my fries into it, so I didn't need Ketchup. The lamb was a bit hard to cut with the knife I got, but at home my knife cut through it was no problem so maybe review the cutlery for certain meals. But 10/10 for that meal. Overall experience was 9/10 but I really want to come back for the breakfast menu!

They say you must not judge a book by it's cover so true. I almost turned back because it was so small but I'm glad I didn't. I took my husband and son here for my husband's birthday and boy did we enjoyed every moment of it. Our drinks were on point as was our delicious meals. My husband had his steak but with a twist of bacon, onions and mushrooms which he really enjoyed. My son had the barbaque lamb, fríes and coleslaw. His lamb was soft and tender that it fell of the bone. I had lamb, shrimp and garden salad. It was perfect. I could tell by the aroma of the food while cooking that it will be delicious and the chef did just that Hats off to the chef excellent job. The drinks mix was on point. They will be moving upstairs the old location which I was very please to hear. I will definitely be back.

Tried here after hearing good reviews but unfortunately my entire experience here was horrible. I called ahead to make a reservation and was told that it wasn't necessary to do so and we could just walk in. When we got there, however, one of the waitresses gave us a snobby look for not having a reservation. Thankfully we still got seated and the waiter came to us reasonably quickly. The Restaurant Week breakfast special was ongoing so although there were 5 of us we ordered 6 meals to avoid any issues with the bill (the prices were set for 2 meals). We then sat waiting for the next 50 mins as we watched at least 4 other tables who got there after us receive their meals. We asked our waiter what was the keep back so he went to check on our order and told us it would be ready in 10 mins. After a further 30 mins we were pretty frustrated and asked again about our order because at this point people who came after us had finished eating and were leaving. The waiter went to the kitchen and came back with only 4 of the 6 meals we ordered. In addition to that everyone's food was cold despite us being told that the delay was because they wanted to send out all our dishes together. I pointed out that my order was missing and he seemed surprised when I reminded what I had asked for. He came back when my friends were halfway through eating and said he was now going to put in my order. I told him not to bother and to just cancel it. This was already after waiting close to 2 hours. We asked for the bill and they had still billed us for all 6 meals and had to ask them to change it. Needless to say I will not...

Visited for TTRW aka Trinidad and Tobago Restaurant Week now known as a "festival". I've had bad experiences before for TTRW so this was supposed to make up for it. I visited based on a review done by HUNGRYBELLY868 by BRENT BRANKER. Now I must say the ambiance was great solid 4 stars and atmosphere very nice, both indoor and outdoor dining options. The food however left a lot to be desired. It was almost the complete opposite of the review posted by Mr. Branker. One would think they were given special treatment just because they were food bloggers. It seemed more like a promotional video than an honest review. Anyway they started off bad when they said they didn't have any shrimp or vegetables for certain items on the menu. We ordered anyway. The food arrived very small portions of each item. It was almost as if we ordered from a child's menu. The chicken scampi (again, no shrimp) lacked flavor. I had to request salt and black pepper just to finish. No condiments were offered, I also had to request that. The chocolate cake was DRY as if they bought it from the supermarket and it was sitting there on the shelf for a week, not to mention it was just a tiny square piece of cake. The piece of strawberry they put as garnish looked like it was rotten. The cheesecake was a mini slice with the same rotten strawberry on top. The service was poor. Seemed as if the waitress was doing the bare minimum, she even disappeared halfway through our meal. I was disappointed to say the least. Lesson learned, do not trust social media reviews. FLAMINGLE CAFE there is plenty room for...
