Salt N' Pepper — Restaurant in Trinidad

I’m really disappointed by the racially profiled service I experienced here. From the moment I walked in, I was not greeted or acknowledged .Staff barely spoke to me and I was made to feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer.

I was treated subpar compared to others around me and it was clear my experience was different because of how I looked. This is unacceptable in 2025. Everyone deserves to feel respected and welcomed, no matter who they are.

I hope management takes this seriously and trains their staff to treat all guests with the same courtesy...

Absolutely Love their food. This is a must try if you want a taste of authentic Indian foods and spices and don't want to spend gourmet restaurant prices. The service is quick, the food is always fresh and the quality is always 5 stars. If you're not the one for spicy though, remember to tell them to make your dishes mild, the spices have a real kick, especially the lamd vindaloo...which is...

Salt and Pepper started well, fell off a bit then progressively improved. They have expanded their menu. Quality and consistency is superb. Good prices. Food obviously cooked fresh. Good presentation. Take away is packaged such that nothing spills, unless the aromas seduce you and you xannot resist opening your purchases in the car. Parking generally easy and best of all...THEY OPEN...
