This was my favourite coffee spot in Sousse! I would try to make it there almost every day I was there for a noon time coffee. It's apparently the oldest cafe in Sousse/the souk and is a family business that has been handed down throughout the generations. The owner is super friendly, down to earth and is a great conversationalist (speaks multiple languages). I learned a lot about Tunisian coffee from the owner and the coffee itself was great. Since then, I've tried to replicate the style of coffee they have here. To add to this, this is one of the nicest and relaxed spaces to have your coffee. The decor is amazing and it doesn't feel overwhelming given it's such an important historical place in a busy souk. If you want nice instagram photos with great coffee and amazing service, would highly recommend this...

The owner of this cafĂ© is the nicest person we have met in Tunisia so far; he was so nice and attentive. We had an amazing Arabic coffee, full of nice spices like orange peel, cardamom, and so on (probably the best coffee I’ve had in my life). We also had some traditional homemade sweets that were INCREDIBLE! The place was BEAUTIFUL, we took so many nice pictures there! And again, the owner was just the nicest, most polite, honest and grateful man ever. I would 100%...

I’ve been travelling a lot in the last 8 weeks and this place had the most ambience. It’s been my favourite cafe. The colour. The pictures. And the soft Arab music played in the background. The owner is very polite man. He keeps the area out the front of his cafe just as clean as he keeps the inside. It’s spotless. I had an Arab coffee, a latte and croissant which nuts and chocolate. It was delicious. And he gave me a free mint tea which very good. It’s a...

The BEST traditional Tunisian cafe! If you want to experience authentic Tunisian tea or coffee, this is the place to visit. The cafe’s traditional vibrant decor is fantastic. Both tea and coffee is prepared with care, and the taste is really nice. The owner is very friendly and kind, who explained to us the importance of keeping tradition alive in Tunisian cafes. We really enjoyed going here and will definitely come again!😊😊

It was empty when we got there and we were welcomed by the owner and his family who were very inviting and hospitable. We were given a very personalised service and the ambience was very enjoyable. Please make sure you try their chicken shawarma. We enjoyed it so much we bought another one to take away and enjoy at the beach later. We going this place on blogs and I'm glad we checked it out.
