This spot checks all the boxes and the fact that it’s in the Medina on the old wall just makes it even better! A limited menu of all traditional authentic Tunisian food. You can sit up on the third floor or even pop outside on the patio or roof for a better view of the city. The owner and his family are so kind & service is great! Plus they finish off with a hot tea- delicious! Though it doesn’t say it on the menu, just ask for vegetable couscous if you’re looking for a vegetarian option. It came loaded with delicious vegetables!

Fantastic family run restaurant. The ambiance is laid back and unpretentious. We sat at the rooftop which had a lovely panorama view. The food was amazing! Recommend all three dishes we got which were filled with flavors: Tunisian salad for appetizer (a bit spicy), fish couscous, and fish tajine for main. Both the couscous and the tajine had red sauces yet tasted totally different. Hard to compare and both were delicious! The owner was friendly and spoke good English to explain the items on the menu to us.

Really loved this place. The wind was very strong when we got here, but we had an excellent, protected view of the old city walls from the top floor of their building. The food and service here was excellent, the owner spoke French and luckily for us, English. He assisted us with ordering and giving recommendations. The lamb couscous and chicken were both delicious, but what really stood out to us was their grilled fish. We only had one problem here, and that was that we wish our stomachs were bigger!

I’ve been here so many times and still can’t get enough of the fish cuscus and the views during sunset 😍. The restaurant is ran by a lovely family and the food is always super delicious, prepared with the freshest ingredients. The quality of the service is amazing and the prices are very affordable. For these reasons this is my favourite restaurant in Sousse for traditional Tunisian food and I’ve been here for almost 2 months. I definitely recommend.

Amazing experience! The food was very delicious and authentic Tunisian. The restaurant is in a perfect spot in the medina to have a really cool view of the sea and medina as well. Samy is also a great host and so much fun to talk to. He speaks great English, French, and Arabic, so it was super easy to get anything we wanted or needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a good meal and fun experience!

O Senhor Sami e a esposa gerem este restaurante genuinamente Tunisino mesmo no coração da Medina de Sousse, no interior da históricas muralhas. As propostas são tradicionais da gastronomia da Tunisia. São preparadas no momento e os vegetais são frescos e muito saborosos. As carnes de frango e borrego extremamente bem temperadas e transportam os paladares do Maghreb a um nível elevado, honesto, genuíno e despretensioso. Disposto em 2 andares - uma sala e um terraço - permite desfrutar de uma paisagem 360º num plano elevado sobre o casario até ao mar de um lado e para a vastidão tunisina, do outro. O inicialmente discreto - e até contido - acolhimento pelo Senhor Sami, rápidamente se torna numa animada troca de comentários e gracejos, nunca inoportunos, sobre tudo - até sobre Cristiano Ronaldo! Ronaldo: se leres este comentário, ficas a saber que o Senhor Sami muito gostaria de te receber no seu espaço! A despesa, contida, inferior 120 Dinares para 5 pessoas, foi regada com fantásticos sumos de laranja espremida na hora. E pronto! É de voltar - pela qualidade, a simpatia, a genuinidade, a localização e a contenção nos preços. Helder M
