Hidden in the souk alley is my favorite restaurant in Sousse. This family-run restaurant is a clear local favorite with dishes that are generously portioned yet cheap, such as the sardine coucous for 12 DH. The staff is also super friendly as well! I highly recommend this place as the place to eat in the Sousse Medina!

We have a great late lunch at Soffra. We’re randomly walking around when we sensed the aroma of delicious local dishes. We tried sardines, oxtail and more. Everything was delicious and we finished with water melon, which you could say it was even better.

Bon accueil et bonne nourriture à des prix corrects. Il faut juste savoir que tout ce qui est sur la carte n'est pas forcément servis mais on trouve largement de quoi se nourrir ! À noter qu'il y a peu de desserts. Un peu d'amélioration des locaux, des cartes du menu en table et un peu de musique traditionnelle notamment et on aurait eu de moi les 5 étoiles. Mais si vraiment vous cherchez un lieu où bien manger et sans se sentir mal à l'aise ensuite, c'est le bon endroit, Fredj est particulièrement sympathique et la nourriture vraiment bonne.

Restaurant el soffra ,un voyage gastronomique et culturel comme chez el mehdaoui de Tunis, un petit local situé en plein centre de la medina de sousse, propose des plats traditionnels tunisiens, le couscous au poissons est un délice, les grillades aussi, le service rapide et sympa,l'hygiène irréprochable ,(toilettes aussi), le thème et l'ambiance agréable, les prix correspondent à la qualité, fredj très sympathique, ce lieu correspond a toutes personnes qui aiment la culture ,l'art culinaire ,l'aventure, et l'histoire......mérite le détour...

Had a "kamouniyya" with beef there. It was very tasty as if made at home! I highly recommend this place. The food is very delicious and the staff is so friendly!
