Ben's Coffee — Restaurant in Tunis

We were very excited to try this place. I live far from the café's location, and on Google Maps, the timings were incorrect. When we arrived around 9:30, a worker informed us they open at 10:00. We waited for half an hour, but upon returning, the worker said they weren't open and advised us to return at 10:30.

Politely, I explained that Google Maps showed incorrect timings, but the worker's response was unexpectedly rude. He said, 'This is not Germany; there's nothing we can do about it.'

The place is very cute and has a nice aesthetic but the service is really not okay. We had a rude waiter that didn’t seemed to understand us and even got annoyed at us which led to her shouting at us in the middle of the restaurant. After that scenario an english speaking waiter came and helped us with our order. The brunch is good and i would give it a 6,5/10. It is very basic but tasty but then again nothing in tunis is wow. The kitchen was closed on a Saturday and most of the menu items were not available. We had carrot cake which was awesome, chocolate cake and a cookie which were average. I had to repeat my order 3 times, to 3 different waiters who somehow forgot to communicate amongst themselves. Really bad service. Too many waiters who seemed clueless?
