BIG MO - Burger Shack — Restaurant in Tunis

Drove by this place by chance and i was immediately attracted to the way it looks ! I went inside and i don’t regret it . This place ticks every criteria that a typical american burger joint has . The food is amazing and i think the buns they use are very unique , i never tried something similar. I had the bacon cheese burger and it was a delight . The bun is closer to a brioche in taste but looks like a mcdonalds bun , the meat is juicy , especially the chicken burger . The pickles taste homemade and the vegetables inside were very fresh . I forgot that this is beef bacon so dont expect to be crispy or fatty and for me it was bit too chewy. The fries tasted great as well but i will either add more seasoning to make them taste better or maybe think of changing to peanut oil or something similar to make them soak up the taste . To be a fast food, it was definitely not fast. We went on a normal week day, and ordered the most basic thing- a classic cheeseburger. The guy handing the orders only shouted the number in arabic, so i’d recommend brushing up on your arabic numbers before going. He was also extremely pissed to be working there, consistently sighing when pouring the soda. To be honest, I would be too. It was very disorganized. While we waited for our order, little children attempted to sell us flowers, do not engage. Clean and fun environment, staff is so friendly, and the food is great! The buns are especially tasty! This feels like an In-and-Out Burger or 5 Guys that we have in the US, they have a pretty simple menue but they make them well. I’m vegetarian & they kindly gave me a burger with everything but the meat, they don’t have a veggie burger sadly. They have an option for fountain drinks instead of a can which is fun too!
