I went there on my own and I absolutely cannot confirm the previous bad review. This place is a hidden gem. I have never lodged in a place before where it was as calm as here. I could fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves without being interrupted by chats or noise from other guests. I thought I was there on my own. You couldn't hear anyone, although there were other guests. Hedi welcomed me very politely and he made me feel at home from the first second of arrival. I felt very at ease and there was no wish unfulfilled. Breakfast was served cold and hot, and every day you got a different surprise of fresh fruits or hot dish, and I loved their delicious fresh orange juice and you got more if you wanted. The room was very clean and I had a fridge, an iron and ironing board in the room. A TV with European and Arabic channels as well, but clearly didn't need this. If I needed any information or recommendation, Hedi provided it. I was able to work there as well, the internet signal is fantastic, and you have connection everywhere you are. The sea view is absolutely stunning. This is definitely pure luxury and even 10 stars worth. Thank...

To start the communication was perfect in helping us get from the airport to the hotel. (Note if you are getting a taxi from the airport to the hotel it should only cost about 15-20dinarMAX).
When we arrived we were greeted kindly and staff helped us get our bags to the room. The room was large and clean and elegant. Modern furnishings and a comfortable bed. We stayed in the Amber room with a large bathtub which was also very nice to have.
Every morning we were greeted with a smiling face, to a large delicious breakfast.
The hotel is a short walk away from the center of La Marsa where you can find any restaurants and fast food places. You can take the train or a short taxi ride to sidi bou said or Carthage. In addition the hotel is right on the water so you are able to enjoy beautiful views and the sound of waves on the sand. The location is perfect.
Not only would I recommend Dar Corniche La Marsa to friends and family but I would recommend to anyone who wants to experience a more local style of living in Tunisia while also being on a...
Read moreDad Corniche was more than amazing. We stayed for 3 nights during our visit to Tunis. Very good location with easy access to Carthage and Sidi Bou Said (by train or you can by foot as well), and 10 min walk to La Marsa which has a good variety of restaurants. The hotel itself was new and well-designed - very nice looking court yard, great view of the sea (from the rooms, dining area etc), spacious room with modern and good quality facilities. Our host was so welcoming and helpful - waited for us until midnight as our flight was delayed, provided us with a lot of tips about where to go, and even drove us to a local place during our first day as the weather was so bad to walk around. The breakfast and all the snacks provided were super tasty, so many choices and all homemade. We’d really love to visit back soon and would highly recommend to those planning to...
