It is a cozy place BUT for a place where a sandwich may cost on average 18 Tunisian dinars, it is not cool all electricity pluggs are not working! (On purpose)

It is done on purpose so people don't get on their computers, okay fine, But not cool because it was not communicated not even sign neither at the entrance 💭 nor in the smoking area.

It's not only about consuming the most food and less electricity when it comes to a coffeeshop.

Weird I would say! :/

Anyways if you work online and do coffeshop hopping don't come here.

It takes so long for the the food to be ready when it's busy and the owner saw how we were literally struggling to find and electriciry pluggs, YET...

Avoid This Place!!!!!!!!!!!! I had an awful experience at this restaurant. I ordered a cookie, and to my disgust, I found a hair in it. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, they completely ignored me, as if it wasn’t a big deal. Instead of apologizing or offering a replacement, they were rude and dismissive—and to make things worse, they still insisted that I pay for it! This level of disrespect and lack of hygiene is unacceptable. A restaurant that doesn’t care about cleanliness or customer service does not deserve business. I will never come back, and I wouldn’t recommend this...

This place is way understaffed, customer care is a foreign concept and the food is just meh. A word to the owner: adapt, renovate, put on a proper sign so people know how to get there, clean up the rest room, scrub off the dirt off your tables and plastic chairs, install more Air Conditioning units, and finally, hire more people to meet the demand (it's not ok for the same person to take orders, clean the tables for the entire place, serve as a barista and also serve as the main cashier, it's...

The place is well decorated the waiters was trying to apologize about how late they were we had to wait for 40min to get cold food every thing felt like it was sitting waiting in the kitchen also the portions weren’t reflecting the price for couple waffles and one pancakes omelet more than 100 Tunisian dinar the taste was barely fine but again the presentation was good Another point it was very noisy it’s terrible

Really good breakfast. My favorite is the black truffle eggs Benedict. My French is poor so I cannot fully explain that I don’t want my eggs runny but they try they’re best and I appreciate that. Very quick service too! Plus they take card payment. I’ve eaten here twice and I have Nothing bad to say about this place. I only wish they had more iced coffee options! I definitely recommend.

We ate at Cooks a number of times during our stay in Sidi Bou Said, it has a huge menu and we all found something we liked. Particular thanks to Mohammed Amin who looked after us each time, and was so kind to my brother who has mobility needs. The French toast, pancakes and breakfast selection (eggs etc.) is great, as well as the chicken and beef burgers which we tried for lunch.
