My first time giving a review on bleu, although I went several times there. This time, I want to applaud the professionalism, integrity and the politeness of all staff there (Racem, Mohamed and the beautiful waitress). My order was missed up and took a long time to get it, the deli was busy and it’s a Saturday, very understandable. Everyone was very accommodating and apologetic, at the end I got my scrambled eggs, soo delicious, huge quantity, but also I got a free drink, very refreshing. I highly appreciated it, and I enjoyed my meal. Upon going to pay, they refused that I pay because of what happened, I wasn’t at all bitter or anything as I felt that they already handled the situation very very well. Still they went an extra mile, and I can only say bravo. Thank you Bleu Team for always giving 💯, and for being genuine...

I had the pleasure of calling Bleue my local café for the handful of years I lived in Sidi Bou Saïd. I couldn’t have asked for a better local hang out!

The food and drink are excellent, the staff are beyond kind (and really funny once you get to know them), and it’s a comfortable space to work from if you bring along a laptop with you. They also have fantastic local products for sale (food, artwork, clothing, etc...) so be sure to bring some extra cash to buy something! I highly recommend the Lamiri Harissa and the KAÏA olive oil.

I’ve got my local spots in NYC, but none hold a candle to Bleue when it comes to price/quality, vibes, and overall ambience.

Be sure to check out Bleue on your next trip to Tunis. I can guarantee you’ll go back more...

Food is fantastic and I love sitting out or in. Unfortunately the coffee is appalling - they burn it and it tastes so bad that you're not sure if it is Arabic coffee they have used by accident. I wouldn't care about this normally since in Tunisia most coffee is like this because people don't care about quality - but Bleue! is charging 6 dinar (the same as Ben Rahim!) for coffee that you don't want to drink. I normally pay around 2 dinar for this quality of coffee. Come on, bleue! - you should do better. (Service is average - they often forget parts of my order, it takes 10 minutes to receive your coffee and the tables are not regularly wiped between clients so you are always touching...

What is it good for to wait over 45 minutes for a simple order of Shakahouka & oatmeal. We received the coffee and iced tea after complaining of waiting for it 30 minutes and mentioned that our parking meter was for 1 hour. The only one male waiter was very rude although only 3 tables inside and outside were occupied, saying that he was serving others who came before, yet food was being served for the table that came after. Lovely location & the only breakfast/brunch in the area. I assume that’s what’s giving it the high rating. P.S. Shakshouka didn’t arrive after 50 minutes. We paid for the rest and left with no apology whatsoever, just a poker face from the waiter.
