This is a scam restaurant. DO NOT EAT HERE!

Mistake number 1: We did not read the reviews here beforehand which warned about this restaurant scamming tourists.

Mistake number 2: The hotel we stayed at had a room service agreement with this restaurant, so we assumed that this restaurant was legit. It is not.

In retrospect, there were several red flags we should have noticed. Firstly, the menu did not have prices. Secondly, even though I specifically said that we did not want salad, the waiter brought us salad anyways. And charged us for it later. Other restaurants in Istanbul will offer you side dishes, such as bread etc., on the house. Not this one. You will be charged for EVERY SINGLE THING at HIGHLY inflated prices. And as a final insult, the food itself was not particularly memorable...

It’s an awful place for tourists. It was the first place which I visited to eat in Turkey and it ruined all my expectations and first impressions about istanbul 🤮 They like scamming tourists! There aren’t any prices in the menu as a result at the end of the meal the waiter gives you an enormous check. If you are a tourist, you will get a doubled check. How I understood it? There were many turks and obviously they didn’t look that much rich to afford high prices in this “restaurant”. I will never recommend this eatery...

5 senedir kaldırıma su ve mama kapları koyuyoruz. 9 Haziran’dan bu yana her sabah bu kaplar sistematik şekilde atılıyor.

Etraftaki tüm esnaflar dahil Zervan’ı defalarca aradık. Kızı olan bir hanımefendiyle görüştük; hayvanları sevdiklerini, kapları atmadıklarını söylediler. Ancak her konuşmamız sonuçsuz kaldı. Herkes birbirini yalanladı, sorumluluk alan olmadı.

Biz ise iyi niyetimizi bozmadan, resmi şikayetlerimizi yaparak her gün mama ve su kaplarını koymaya devam ettik. Ama bugün, Zervan çalışanlarından, kapıda müşteri karşılayan bir beyefendi kapları attığını açıkça söyledi. Üstelik “hayvanları barınaklara verin” gibi akla mantığa sığmayan bir cümle kurdu.

Hayvanların çevreyi kirlettiğini iddia etti. Biz de her gün kapılarının önünde gördüğümüz bira şişelerini hatırlattık ve bunları nasıl engellediklerini sorduk.

Kamuya ait kaldırımdaki kapları her gün atarak, 5199 sayılı Hayvanları Koruma Kanunu’na açıkça aykırı hareket eden bu işletme, 40 derece sıcakta sadece mama kaplarını değil, su kaplarını da çöpe atıyor. Yani hayvanların yaşam hakkını hiçe sayıyor.

Açlık ve susuzluktan dilini dışarı çıkarıp gölgede bile nefes nefese duran küçücük canlara, bir yudum suyu bile çok gören bu zihniyetin ne vicdana ne insanlığa sığar yanı var.

Biz sokak hayvanlarını korumaya, onların karnını doyurmaya, susuzluğunu gidermeye devam edeceğiz. Siz de lütfen, hayvanların yaşam hakkına saygı duymayan bu işletmeleri...
