During my recent stay at Ramada Hotel & Suites in Istanbul's Şişli district, I experienced a mix of comfort and minor inconveniences. The Double Bed Superior Room with Terrace I stayed in, located on the sixth floor, offered a quiet atmosphere and a pleasing view of the neighborhood. However, the room's lighting was notably insufficient, with just a couple of dim desk lamps and some decorative lights that didn't brighten the space adequately. The breakfast offered at the hotel was decent but not exceptional, meriting a 7 out of 10 rating. It was a rather simple spread, which may not meet everyone's expectations. Additionally, the lack of airtight windows in the room meant that it became cold during my absences, a situation exacerbated by the electricity turning off when the keycard was removed. A welcome convenience was the daily provision of two bottles of water, though the lack of coffee refills was a slight disappointment. The housekeeping service was excellent, maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout my stay, which was facilitated by a daily tip of 100 TL. Room amenities were somewhat basic, with only two shoe polish boxes and a sewing kit provided. The absence of items like a brush or razor might be a downside for some guests. On the positive side, the liquid soap provided on the vanity was of good quality. The hotel's location above a CarrefourSA store is quite beneficial, offering easy access to various supplies at reasonable prices. The staff at the hotel, in general, were very friendly and helpful. A special mention must go to Beyza at the front desk, who provided exceptional support, granting access to a computer and diligently answering all queries. In conclusion, while there are areas for improvement, particularly in room amenities and breakfast variety, the overall experience at Ramada Hotel & Suites was positive. The affordability of the stay (approximately $100 CAD per night) makes it a recommendable option for those seeking a budget-friendly yet comfortable accommodation in Istanbul. I look forward to my next visit and would recommend this hotel to others.

Hello world, I'll start with the good stuff... Rooms are big, beds are comfy, bathroom is big, staff is great... And now on the other side... Lack of European channels on the TV, the fridge is extremely small and very weak (I had a medical condition and had to bring my own food and the fridge simply could not cope with one bowl of soup...) Breakfast... It is served a la carte (not Swedish buffet) and the choices are pretty limited... And absolutely the worst of all... INTERNET CONNECTION IT IS FROM THE 90's... It crashes very often and when it works it is like dial up. I couldn't get any work done. I've had a teenage son with me... And you know what that means... WhatsApp calls (roaming is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE HERE) we're lagged, file transfers a nightmare... Please keep that in mind.

Ramada is a nice and friendly hotel for short to long-term stay. The rooms are decent. The location is very central and easy to get taxi to other locations, however there is always Istanbul traffic 🚗 I tried the masseuse, she was a nice lady, and the massage 💆‍♀️ was good. We enjoyed our stay at Ramada in Sisli mostly because of the service of the female staff working in the front of house and the restaurant, specifically Erbu and Rojin 🙋🏻‍♀️. They delivered excellent service with smiles on their face everyday - they know true hospitality. The chef is really cool 😎& friendly too. Because of them, myself and my husband would visit Ramada again ✌🏾

We booked and fully paid for a double city-view room with a terrace. To confirm, we called the Ramada Hotel the following day and were assured that our reservation was in place. ||We planned everything around our stay at Ramada. Upon arriving at the hotel around 15:30 on 25th March 2025, we checked in smoothly at reception and were given our room key without issue. However, upon entering the room, we realised that it did not have a terrace and informed the staff member on that floor. ||Shortly after, we were contacted by a lady from reception, who informed us that there were no terrace rooms available anymore and that a better room had been assigned to us instead.|(Just to clarify, the only difference was the lack of a terrace—so how exactly was this an upgrade?)||When we went down to reception to discuss the matter in person, a gentleman, seemingly more senior, explained that this was a mistake caused by the booking platform, as their system had not been updated and had sold us a room that was already occupied. However, he insisted that, as compensation, we had been given "the best (??) room available."||We were given two options:||Stay in the room we were given or leave the hotel. ||By this point, it was already 16:00. We had planned to spend the evening on the terrace, and everything was arranged accordingly. Finding a new hotel at that hour was not easy, and it was incredibly disappointing that no effort was made to offer any sort of goodwill gesture. We even requested a simple breakfast as compensation, but this was flatly refused. As a result, we decided to leave the hotel and went back to our room to collect our belongings.||At the reception, there were three staff members: a brown-haired lady, a blonde lady, and a blue-eyed gentleman. ||While on the phone with Etstur in the room—trying to sort out the mess—we spent around 10 minutes discussing the situation. Then, a lady from reception called us and bluntly asked, "Are you leaving the room? Please hurry up." Given how frustrated we already were, this only made matters worse.||And then came the final straw.||We went downstairs, handed over our key, and were just about to leave when the blue-eyed gentleman at reception said, "Please wait for five minutes."|When we asked why, he replied, "Since you went back to the room, we need to check it before you leave."||Now, let’s just take a moment to process this.|The hotel had already ruined our stay. No alternative solution was offered. It was past 16:00, and we were left scrambling to find a new hotel on the evening of our anniversary. And yet, we were expected to wait for them to check the room before allowing us to leave?||I completely understand that room inspections are standard procedure. But where is the basic courtesy? Why was this communicated with such an unfriendly, almost dismissive tone? It felt as though we were being ordered around: "Hurry up and leave the room, but wait here until we check it."|So, instead of waiting, we left.||The whole experience was disappointing, unprofessional, and not what one would expect from a hotel of...

I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the service my wife and I experienced during our recent stay at Ramada Istanbul Sisli. We initially booked and paid in full (1,881 EUR) on September 29th, 2024, for a stay from October 27th to November 15th, as we were scheduled for a kidney transplant procedure at Florence Nightingale Hospital nearby. I was the donor, and my wife was the recipient.|Upon arrival, we were assigned Room 1107, where we stayed until November 2nd, when we had to be admitted to the hospital for post-surgery recovery, initially estimated to last 14 days. Fully understanding the hotel’s non-refundable policy, we did not expect a refund for the unused portion of our stay. However, due to a smooth recovery, we were discharged on November 12th and returned to the hotel to resume our accommodation for the remaining period.|To our surprise, upon returning, we were met with an uncooperative attitude from Mr. Borat, the receptionist on duty. He informed us that our original room was “not available,” despite our ongoing reservation, and reassigned us to a different room that was smaller, older, and located on the 6th floor instead of the 1st. Furthermore, this new room was at the very end of the hallway, significantly farther from the elevator, which posed considerable difficulty, as my wife now relies on a wheelchair and needs closer access.|We were additionally informed that the hotel staff reported to the booking agency that our situation had been resolved, claiming that we were assigned a “similar room, close to the elevator”—a complete misrepresentation. This was not the case, and I am disheartened by this blatant falsehood.|I find it unacceptable that our original room could have been double-booked or reassigned without our knowledge. We were already dealing with a demanding medical situation, and the inconvenience of this downgrade added...
