Feluka Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Şişli

Our experience at this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. We went to celebrate there , expecting a memorable meal, but instead, we faced multiple issues that ruined our evening.👎

First, the rocket salad we ordered was just a bunch of chopped vegetables thrown together with no thought. Then, when we asked for hummus, we were served tahini instead. When we questioned the waiter, he said they had run out of hummus because they were so busy, but the place was almost empty with just a few families. Seriously, how does an Arab restaurant run out of hummus? The fried shrimp we ordered was so dry it was practically inedible, and the main fish dish was burnt to a crisp. The service didn’t help at all. The waiter seemed confused and couldn’t get our orders right. We also ordered several dishes from the menu that never arrived because, according to the waiter, the chef was too tired and didn’t want to prepare anything difficult.🤦🏻‍♀️

We even asked for a Fattoush salad, which is a standard item, but the waiter told us the chef didn’t want to make it because it was “too hard,” despite it being on the menu. Additionally, the presentation of the dishes was extremely disappointing. The food looked unappetizing and carelessly thrown onto the plates, as seen in the photos we took. It didn’t seem like any effort was put into making the food look presentable or appealing. Overall, this restaurant was a huge letdown. We won’t be coming back, and I can’t recommend it to anyone. I hope they seriously improve their food quality, service, and presentation in the future.

I am not sure if Feluka balik Bahçeşehır is its branch, i couldn’t find it in google for reviews that’s why i wrote my reviews here i stead. If they are not connected i hope id be called out to correct😅 the restaurant was of good space though it could get crowded if full of diners. The waiting staffs were attentive and polite. They’d let you choose from menu or from the fish at the entrance. The grilled clams were well flavored and one portion was already good for two people, i am not sure about the sauce but it tasted like meunière😋😋😋. The sizzling buttered shrimp was tender. The fried sea-bass was well fried so crispy skin with tender meat. The rice though spoiled the marvelousness of the moment because it was over spiced and undercooked. They were not hiding any hocus-pocus on pricing, it would be told as you ask for it when you place your order. Will we come back?...

The food is lacking taste, we could not finish the fish, no spices at all, I ate many dishes in egypt speciality in Alexandria..the taste there is way way better than this restaurant. The ship soup was cooked with frozen shrimp with zero taste, the shrimps lacking the taste and the sea bass fish is awful. I will nevercvisit this restaurant again and I will never recommend it to anybody. The service is not up to a good level restaurant. They brought the breads and my soup and did not bring the appetisers along with it..so we waited 15 minutes and then we asked the waiter where is the Matabel? Where is the Homus?
