First off, really liked the layout and decor of the place. Really unique and eclectic - apparently it was an old home refurbished into a restaurant and even comes with its own wine cellar on the first floor.
Service was prompt and good. You just need to pick your main course and you'll be served with some appetisers such as bread, salad and soup of the day to start with. We had tomato soup and it was nice.
For mains, we picked grilled trout, grilled chicken (always a winner so far in Türkiye), and the pottery kebab/stewed beef. Was very impressed by how soft the beef was and the presentation- came with a flaming top. It was even better than what we had at Mozaik the night before in Goreme (supposedly the best and known for their pottery kebab and stewed for 4 hours but some pieces were tough). Last but not least, desert was baklava which never goes wrong.
Overall, very satisfied and a refreshing change from buffet...
Read moreAmazing discovery : the restaurant is not visible from the road but you need to get there. The place is like a museum at ground floor, and upstairs the restaurant is really great looking.
After this ambiance, we have to speak about the service : very polite, the server is great. You'll have a nice moment.
And of course the meals : we took lamb skewer and claypot kebab. Both really good, and esthetic especially for the kebab in claypot. They are generous.
A great restaurant where we will be happy to come again during our stay.
