There's very good reason why this place has the reviews it has ... because they deserve it for their good food and service. You won't leave this place feeling hungry - they give you so much extra food like the appetisers and bread (unlimited) to accompany your meal, you could feel a little overwhelmed. The food is delicious - order anything you want and it will be good. We went twice and had different dishes and they were all tasty - and you must have their home made Ayran. The owners / staff are very attentive, regularly walking through the restaurant to make sure everything is going well and that you have enough bread, etc. Service is also very fast. This place always had guests unlike other restaurants. Price wise, they are not more expensive than other places in town - if a dish costs more, it is not by much. We spent just under USD6.50 per person each time and it was worth every cent.

We were disappointed by their Manti. The sauce was watery and the dish was bland. It was really missing spices. We’ve had Manti many times during our trip but we didn’t finish this one. Although the staff didn’t speak English, we were approached by a gentleman who with a translation app said that, ‘foreigners don’t like this dish’. I replied that we usually love this dish, but he just walked away. On another note, the huge pita bread was really good and freshly made. The portions were also generous.

Absolutely loved this place. We nearly got stuck at heavily overpriced tourist traps nearby, but managed to decide on this inviting spot that was full of locals indulging in the delicious dishes here. For 90 TL you get six tasty meze and endless freshly baked pita bread. I tried a meat dish similar to beef stew that comforted my soul! Also tried Ayran for the first time and found it strangely enjoyable. The service here is VERY good, very quick, very friendly. And you can't beat their prices.

Crowded place with a lot of local people eating inside or getting the food take away. The owner is very nice and helpful, even though the English level is not very high. We ordered a salad, soup, adama kebab, veggie kebab and 2 poterry kebabs. The food was good, being the soup one of the bests I have tried so far. They have Ayran as well which is really good. The price is average but lower to what you can find in Goreme for the quality of it. 500TL for 4 people

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Best place in kappadokia. Delicious authentic food, outstanding service, clean washrooms, warm and welcoming smiles. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip in kappadokia. Must try this place if you’re here! Testi kebap,mevlani pide, home made delicious ayran, they use the best şalgam brand, provide a great selection of fresh mezzes, including çiğ kofte… you don’t want to miss the experience here. Teşekkür ederiz!!

AVANOS GELENEKSEL YEMEKLERİ: Tarihte birçok medeniyete ev sahipliği yapmış, doğasının bir lütuf gibi nakış nakış işlendiği Kapadokya’nın mutfağındaki aşçılar da en az Avanos çömlekçileri kadar sanatçı! Göz doyuran atmosferi, donatılan bir Kapadokya sofrasına da siniyor. Testi Kebabı;Geleneksel olarak kuzu eti, soğan, domates, sarımsak ana malzemeleriyle, yerine göre ise patlıcan, mantar, patates gibi sebzelerle de hazırlanan bu kebap, testide az ateşte pişerken suyunun içine salınmasıyla lezzet buluyor. Ama en çok da tandırda yapılanı makbul. Bazı restaurantlarda testinin ağzı hamurla kapatılıp pişirilse de, orijinal testi kebabının ağzı ortası delinmiş bir patatesle kapatılıyor. Pişerken patatesin ortasındaki delik genişledikçe testi bir düdüklü tencere gibi kebabın özüne lezzet katıyor. Baharatların kullanımı ise aşçıların sırrı ve kendi yarattığı lezzete neyi ne kadar kattığını pek de paylaşmıyor. Kebapların konduğu testiler özel bir sır kaplamasıyla Avanos'ta yapılıyor. Bu arada testinin önünüzde kırıldığı sunumuyla ve kırıklardan yükselen kokuyla yemeden etkileneceğinizi de söyleyelim. Kalabalık gruplar için aynı tarifler büyük çömleklerde de hazırlanabiliyor.
