machi machi — Restaurant in Beşiktaş

On my second last day in Istanbul, I rushed here after long bus delays and a few canceled schedules....I was on the brink of giving up on boba tea altogether. We quite literally ran to the door & it was 5 mins before 20:00 , their closing time. Isa, who was at the front counter / cashier was super welcoming and didn't rush us to make our choices, he even gave reccomendations with warm smiles! I actually wrote this review to commend his customer service skills & wonderful manners while still striving to be professional. We have machi machi in Malaysia, where I came from, but usually the workers do not bother to engage in much conversation - and being a fruit tea / bubble tea connoisseur myself - I drink atleast 3 to 4 cups a week from different shops , I have never encountered such marvelous customer service! He even offered a new clean straw when he noticed we've used our current one for a different drink. Thank you Isa, you made the experience memorable & what a pleasant way to end our day ☻

For the drinks itself, creme brulee with boba was maybe 5/10 a bit too sweet and overly creamy for me (did not end up finishing it) ,but the blueberry strawberry with cream cheese on less sugar was great and refreshing, solid 8.5/10. Im more of a fruit tea person anyway. Their tapioca boba were nice and chewy!

Overall, def give this place a chance and ask for recomms according to ur...

As an Asian boba-lover, it always come to a abit of dissatisfaction finding boba tea shop in Turkiye not as good as I tried back home in Malaysia. But coming here to machi machi yesterday changed everything.

Upon entry I was greeted with warm welcome and heartful smiles from the owner that can speak fluent English. I tried Caramel Milk Tea with Cream Cheese Foam and Cream Cheese Foam Jasmine Milk Tea. Honestly speaking, first drink despite need to add more sweetness (sweet tooth) that cream cheese flavour was truly the highlight of the show. But it was nothing like Jasmine Milk Tea.

At first I was hesitant to add cream cheese into tea because it maybe taste weird but I was very wrong. The cream cheese flavour PERFECTLY WELL-COMBINED with bitterness fragrances from jasmine tea. This is definitely my on-to-go drinks from now on after just one sip.

In conclusion, GREAT SERVICE + GREAT DRINKS = GREAT SHOP. I definitely can see myself and my fellow Malaysians friends coming here frequently. Keep up the great work!

We were craving for boba/bubble tea in Istanbul and stumbled upon machi machi on a delivery app. Our first time ordering was through delivery and it was so good and authentic that we had to come to the shop in person!

The tea was strong and fragrant, the milk was creamy, and the boba (tapioca pearls) were just the right chewy texture! The employee there was also incredibly nice, he would always check up on the customers for the quality of their drinks.

We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for authentic bubble tea...
