Peymane Ocakbaşı — Restaurant in Beşiktaş

I had the pleasure of dining at what appears to be a sister restaurant, located on a bustling side street in Besiktas. The lively atmosphere of this area made it an excellent choice for a restaurant.

The setting was spot-on for the type of dining experience they offer, and I must say the food was nothing short of incredible, easily ranking among the best in Istanbul for authentic Turkish cuisine. The mezze selection was a delight, with Muhammara being a standout recommendation. For our main course, we opted for the mixed and special Adanas, and they exceeded our expectations in both quality and portion size.

Our server, Ersin, deserves special mention for providing exceptional service. He introduced us to the world of raki, enhancing our overall experience.

Rude and unprofessional! We went away after 10 minutes and discovered Cezayir Restaurant with beautiful garden and kind service.

Our experience here: We sit outside, immediately it started raining and so we were expecting to be moved inside. Nothing happened. We asked help and after insisting they explained inside they didn't setup their room (other restaurant on the terrace said that night they were close for the rain forecast) so finally they put us in their service table at the corner and they set it up with plastic placemates instead of the white tablecloth. Asked talking the manager and he said that was it. So we left that...

we were heading to main square and on the way to it we found this lovely shop. first we visit just coz its decoration. nice/clean/ warm. we didnt expect the quality of sauce is so nice with really good deal. with staff Ersin's great help. we bought 3 bottle of sauces and cant wait to bring them back to taiwan with slice of bread.

second visit we have steak/grill galic and onion/meet ball/ so delicious and price is good deal. i prefer this kind of shops hidden in the alley which only visited by locals instead of visitors.
